I went with her to the Doctors, and they told her that she had cancer, it was the day before I started year 8. Eh, don't worry, man. Thyroid cancer ((I'm assuming that is what you meant?) And this is if she does have thyroid cancer) is said to be the best cancer you can get, ironically. It is easily treatable, even late into the process, and has a low chance of returning. But if it does, it is still highly treatable.

While their I met my friend. For several months we faught the unknown together. She had already been fighting cancer for a long time when we came to be. She passed away. I remember so dearly the short time I had her in my life. When I went yrs later to Atlantic City to preform after 9/11 I danced on fabric to this song. I had gone through trials of life became a United States Marine and them found my music. We my friend and I danced this song. Some days I dont want to keep going yet others I want to fight like hell. I get scared every time I get sick in not knowing if the cancer is getting the best of me. My sister has also had cancer. we have no contact her choice not mine. LIfe is really hard when you are fighting something like cancer and wonder if there will be a cure any time in your life time or not. I use to listen to this song all the time and wonder how a person could get threw each day knowing they have cancer. Now I am in that shoe. It is the hardest battle to stay positive in life. Everytime i hear this song i cry because almost 7 years ago when i was 11 i was diagnosed with cancer and as i sat in the ER with my parents, just minutes after receiving the news this song came on the tv that was in my room. It was crazy. I remember it like it was yesterday. I have been done with treatment for four and a half years. I'm a survivor and it feels amazing to be alive and say that i've kicked leukemias ass.

Cancer is an awful disease. That's why my friends and I registered to donate stemcells so we can at least try to do something. I haven't lost loved ones to cancer, yet (hopefiully never), but I know people who have or almost have and I hope they will find a "cure" one day. It's such a terribble fight to fight. I wish you people out there all the strenght and support you can get.

It is a scary thing trust me but we sadly can't change the way the world is if we could I'm sure a lot of us would. I've had two different types of cancer the first time when I was 5 years old lost my left eye and the second time when I just turn 34 I had just finish law school was about to start my job on a police department, everything was going as plan til I started having pain in my side, dr gave me 6months to live that was 10-31-2012, but im not sad I cant wait to dance with the angels and to see family and friends that has gone on before me. Its going to be one hell of a reunion LOL

my friend died 10 years ago when we were in the 4th grade I always like to think what she would look like and where she would be and I imagine her dance at prom... people call me childish for thinking of her like that ... they think this is enough time to grieve... I miss my best friend

+stacey havard There's never enough time to grieve the loss of someone close. To anyone who doubts the hurt that is left after they go....you've never lost someone close, it never goes away. Remembering is being human....and takes courage to keep someone who's gone in mind always. Don't let em get you down, you're a good person for remembering your friend.
Stacy if you didn't love your friend you would just forget about her but you show the purest kind of love by remembering her. it is not childish to miss a dear friend so don't listen to the haters they just wish they had a true friend like you
this song always makes me cry because me cusen had cancer and every time i see this it means a lot but its really sad and i love him so so so muchand i pray god that it never comes back

I'm 25, I still use this song to sleep to along with my babies. Ones almost 3, ones one and I'm pregnant with my third. This song is my number 1 go to.

i love this song it reminds me of my great grandma cause she had breast cancer and she died from so this song makes me think of her and it makes me cry because of it i was reall close to her when she was alive shes been gone for awhile but i still miss her all the time
My sister just passed away from breast cancer on December 1, 2012. I miss her so much! She leaves a husband, and 3 children. The youngest turned 9 this month. Cancer is an ugly thing. My sister fought the good fight! She is happy, and beautiful, and healed in her eternal home called Heaven. I know our parents were waiting to greet her on the other side. It's just sad here without her :(
I wish nobody had cancer i would do anything to make no one have cancer or anything else my heart goes out to everyone who battles cancer and my family that battles it and everyone else who is battling cancer
I lost my aunt which was like my best friend at the age of 5, lost a uncle just one week ago, and lost my uncle Jonny nearly a year ago. And my cousin I never got to meet lost his battle at the age of 5. And one of my old pastors died from cancer. I love and miss them all so much

I've had two different types of cancer the first time when I was 5 years old lost my left eye and the second time when I just turn 34 I had just finish law school was about to start my job on a police department, everything was going as plan til I started having pain in my side, dr gave me 6months to live that was 10-31-2012, but im not sad I cant wait to dance with the angels and to see family and friends that has gone on before me. Its going to be one hell of a reunion LOL

This song is so meaningful, as a Doctor, I see more and more children and infants, toddlers, preteens, teens, adults of all Life Level with cancer(s), my Life Partner and my oldest brother both were recently found to have cancers, (Brain and Lymphoma respectively). My Father and even my little French Bulldog passed away due to cancers. It is pretty much as common now as diabetes!!! I love this song!!!

My great grandfather was diagnosed with esophageal cancer when I was little... he had it for almost a year and his full head of hair came out. He was my best friend... I am 12 now but I still miss him so much! 😢😭😭😭😣 R.I.P This song kind of reminds me of him. And I'm now crying my eyes out
