CREAMY LEMON CHICKEN
serves 4
Tender chicken breast in a creamy citrus sauce! This one-pan dish feels light, yet delectable. INGREDIENTS: DIRECTIONS:
2 Chicken Breast, sliced into cutlets
1⁄4 tsp Salt
1⁄4 tsp Pepper
5 tbsp Flour
2 tbsp Olive Oil
2 tbsp Butter
3 Garlic cloves, minced
1 cup Low Sodium Chicken Broth 1 cup Heavy Cream
1 tbsp fresh Lemon Juice
Zezt from 1 Lemon
1 cup shredded Parmesan Cheese
GARNISH
Lightly dried Basil
fresh sliced lemon
reserved lemon zest
cooked pasta or mashed potatoes.
1. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour and set aside. In large skillet, heat oil and 1 tbsp of butter. Add chicken to pan. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until chicken is golden brown and reaches almost 165 degrees. Transfer chicken to plate and set aside. In same pan, add 1 tbsp butter. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds. Next, add chicken broth and deglaze the pan. On medium-low heat, add heavy cream, lemon juice, half lemon zest, and parmesan cheese (saving a small amount for garnish.) Continue to cook, stirring frequently until cheese has melted. Return chicken to pan with sauce and continue to simmer for just another minute or 2. Garnish with remaining lemon zest, dried, basil, and additional shredded parmesan. Serve warm over angel hair pasta or mashed

I'm in Michigan and we JUST FINALLY got some snow!!! We haven't really gotten any real good snow for a couple of years now. But NOW it LOOKS like winter!!!! But then, NEXT week, it's supposed to be sunny!!! In Michigan, it could snow one day, and the next you could be wearing shorts!!! Michigan just can't make up her mind what she wants to do. Our weather is always crazy. My dogs love the snow!!! They play in it!! Sometimes my Pom, doesn't want to come in! I now inherited a Jack Russell/ Chihuahua and he's finally opened up and will go out and stay out for a while, too. They are too funny!!! I can't wait to try this!!!!

Hi Jen, I live in SE MI and we have been in the deep freeze last week. High temps in the single digits with lows of way below zero like 15 below and last Monday morning it was 2 degrees at 8 a.m. with a wind chill of 60 below zero. I only went out twice last week to get the mail and garbage out. We have also had lots of snow. Tomorrow we are in for a heat wave, 33 for the high. Love your channel. I give your recipe a 10 ⭐️ rating! Looks Wonderful!
Oh Jen, that recipe on a scale if 1-10 is at minimum a 17! I think it might be delish with a flakey white fish like Cod too, but I'll just have to give this one a try first.

Its been snowing for quite a while, we have about 2 ft of snow on the ground but the prettiest part is the fluffy, cotton candy looking snow just sitting on my giant oak trees huge limbs - and the sky was a curealian blue this afternoon, pretty enough to paint! I tolerate West Michigan weather, but days lile today, I just love it! Put on wool or nylon fabrics bc the cold won't penetrate thru them and keep ur body heat contained better. Another great thing about snow & cold is it kills Respiratory Bacteria & Viruses very well, so if we look at it from that perspective, God is being very loving in allowing us to get covered in snow! For your presentation you get a 10 Right now in Indiana it's 9°. We have been having windshields of 20 below. It's been terrible school cancelations. Haven't had a lot of snow. We had some the other day. It was 2 inches. We were supposed to have freezing rain now Monday and Tuesday. We love you bunches I'm legally blind so I talk I don't know what it says hopefully it's good😂❤

Oh this looks delicious, will definitely be trying this one. It’s Tuesday here when I’m watching and yes we have snow/ice from 2 different storms last week. This week temps are going up to more normal so this should melt, although our nights are still bitter cold. The lowest we’ve been is 3*. It’s been bitter cold, windy. I’m in Virginia

@@MrsAlmaTrumble It's an old Japanese (I think) remedy - u don't eat it, u literally take the big leaves & wrap it around sore joints then I guess to keep it held in place u wrap Saran wrap and/or masking tape to hold it around ur knee. I knew a bunch of old ladies who swore it works wonders, but I haven't ever tried it. It would be cheap enough to try though. Maybe u never heard of that remedy? 🤭
