- Quick and Easy One-Pan Creamy Chicken Recipe
INGREDIENTS
3 boneless chicken breasts
Salt
Black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
2 tbsp dill

Apply salt and pepper seasoning to both sides of the chicken breasts.
In a large saucepan add olive oil and a pad of butter to the hot pan. Evenly coat the pan and add breasts.
Do not move them until they are ready to flip after five minutes (I would say on a medium-high heat).
When the chicken is finished, remove from the pan and add minced garlic to the same pan, fry until golden.
Then add 1 cup of chicken broth, 1 cup of heavy cream. Stir to combine. Add 2 tbsp of lemon juice, 1 tsp of lemon zest, 2 tbsp of dill, then simmer for five minutes.
Add the chicken back to the pan and simmer until thick.
(Just in case you want to read the instructions instead of starting and pausing the video while cooking.)

It's similar to chicken piccata,try capers instead of the dill next time for another yummy meal:) And lots add a little flour to the chicken for chicken piccata and add Italian seasoning also for chicken piccata. I'm sure this is good too,so,I'll have to try it also:)

I made this dish as per the ingredients and directions to a tee and the sauce never thickened. I simmered and simmered some more and it just did not get ever get thickened. I do have to say though- it was DELICIOUS.
You can always add a little bit of corn starch that will thicken the sauce but it must be nice with water and don't add to much at a time as it can get thick quickly.

Ot other choice, you can cover the chicken in flour then fry the chicken that will also help thicken the sauce.

I just made it now. Can't get over it! 😍 I put 1 tbsp of corn flour just to make it thick coz my sauce wasn't thick like in the video 😅
You can just roast the flour before garlic with oil or without flour you can use thicker/condensed chicken broth instead of that.
I have made this several times since I first watched recipe. Making its again now. My family loves it!!!
I follow the instructions to the letter, and it never really thickened . Do you have any suggestions?
@@skinny4 Whenever you want to thicken anything, use a cornstarch slurry. Start with maybe a tablespoon or two of cornstarch mixed well with 1/3 cup of water. Keep adding cornstarch slurry until it is as thick as you like it. Yes this sauce wasn't thick for me either so I added the cornstarch. Had really great flavor tho. Good luck!!
