The way it was all black and white in the beginning, and then the colors appeared right after Scaramouche let it all out, is just stunning. That actually made me cry
The cool thing is that, Ei liked him but wanted her gnosis to be safe. Since Scara cried she knew the human like emotions could possibly get in the way of the safety of the gnosis. She didn’t “abandoned” him at all. She let him go and live a life she couldn’t have. And she even gave him a feather pin he wears even as the Wanderer today. He took everything as a betrayal but it never really was. Ei could have killed him like Miko wanted her to do, but she let him live in hopes his human like emotions could help him live happily.
I loved your video and it was so sweet, I hope Scara will understand later on ♥️

@@zerotodona1495 I believe he was still asleep when she first left him, and when he woke up she was already in the plane of Euthymia so I don't think she was able to talk with him, I hope she can now that she's out and properly apologize

She did abandon him no matter the perspective. She saw him nothing more as a useless tool i don't get why you need to make ei seem to feel bad at that time when she didn't even now she does say she owes him but even she says she doesn't know why. It would have actually been better for everyone if ei did kill scara for the sake of sumeru to start with and for the sake for himself. What made it more insulting is that she didn't even want the gnoses.
Also his emotion doesn't affect the gnoses he was just meant to hold it and like putting stuff in a spare room kinda thing. His emotion is what made him weak as a tool
Ei did betray him regardless of intention i don't know why a ton of genshin fans just say she didnt abandon him all of a sudden because she felt slightly bad about it. She could have left him with a family, left a note and she did have time because left the artifact for him.
The first was a betrayal - ei also didnt teach him basic concepts of death etc leading to next course of events
the second was a misunderstanding but logical why scara sees it as a betrayal if you've read the lore
and the third is also a betrayal ( is likely to be ) - Sure the kid didn't choose to die but it states the kid made a promise to him and when going back on a promise that is a form of betrayal
Its also a matter that he sees the world betraying him which his point got even more by the sumeru archon quest
@@Renaknight I see your point, Ei is very flawed in a number of ways and it makes sense that it is considered a betrayal especially because she didn't leave him with any instructions being that he was basically a child developmentally, however I don't think she saw him as a useless tool, she just didn't know him enough to form a bond worthy of feeling a connection between them so her lack of care towards him (though pretty cruel especially from his perspective) makes sense, in her voice lines she says "perhaps it's because I feel like I owe him something, but I do not wish to assert control over him" that explains why she doesn't control him but it doesn't mean that's all she's ever thought of him so I don't like the way people make her seem utterly heartless but I do think she was neglectful and should have done more than the bare minimum, so I don't excuse her actions but I also don't condemn her for them you know?

I cried more than I thought I would. The pain in Scaramoche’s voice. Ei’s reactions and her hugging him at the end. I sobbed, and I hope they can talk things though in the game. Hopefully. It won’t change the past, but they can try to make a better future.

This was next level. The voices may not have sounded like they do in the game but damn did the actors deliver 😊

This is a genuinely sad comic dub I've ever seen from genshin. The emotional voice acting, the culminated lore of their struggling relationships and their tragic past really touched my heart.
I love how Wanderer (or Scaramouche in this case) explores Ei's dilemma of Eternity deeply to their differences.
But in canon he erased himself from immursul. When Ei encounters Wanderer, I don’t think she able to recognise her son.
He erased “Kabukimono” and “Scaramouche” but not “The Puppet Prototype” so both Ei and Yae Miko would remember him but it might take a minute for them to recognise him as The Prototype because the last that either would remember of him is when Ei let him go.
Because what memory they have of him is in those very first moments they no longer have anything they consider noteworthy to say about him (hence to lost voice lines).
I feel that it's disappointing to see everyone hate Ei, Scara and Ei led similar lives in a way, Ei's sister died in her arms leaving her to take care of Inazuma on her own ( not prepared enough to do so), all of her closest friends died right before her leaving her fragile and alone to the point she locked herself away in her own mind to prevent incidents like that from happening again, and even if you are upset that Ei ignored the suffering of her people, 1 she was in the plane of Euthymia and couldn't see her direct impact (later leaving and understanding the gravity of what she did) and 2 don't forget that Scara also killed a ton of people as well as leading to the death of our friend Teppei if not somewhat causing Inazuma's civil war ( plus participating in the whole Sumeru samsara fiasco), I think they both caused problems and can both grow too, people grieve in different ways and may sometimes hurt others without meaning to
I don't hate ei but a lot of ei fans keep making it out like she felt like an awful person over it when she doesn't actually care about him. She does state she feels like she owes him which is true but you think she shouldn't take responsibility for her actions.
I hate the point of oh well scaramouche tried to kill traveller like so did childe, so did ei and people love them? And so what scaramouche has killed people most of the genshin cast has its just painted as hes in the fatui and killed people so he's evil when the fact is the fatui isn't the actual enemy and they just ain't afraid of being immoral.
Scaramouche has had consequences for all his actions so far and even after inazuma ei has faced none that's why her development is seen as bad in archon and first story quest because she instantly is just good now.
So what ei had a sob story? Yes i feel bad for her but she did to scara what happened to her. She were abandoned by her friends and her sister in a sense in death and she did the same to him and left him all alone. To ei freedom was hiding away that why she stayed in the euthmiya and thought setting him free would give him to same sense.
We knew teppei less than three days and he was only a minor role in that. Scara even states he isn't the mastermind he just uses teppeis death to provoke mc which shouldn't even work because we barely knew teppei. Don't get me wrong i sobbed for teppei but the soldiers were are of what the delusions did and kokomi was irresponsible as a leader in accepting them from an unknown sponsor. The blame for teppei is spread between signora, kokomi , teppei himself and scara.
You also forget maybe scara wouldn't have killed all these people if ei bothered to i dont know not abandon him or atleast left a note or told him. Hell even left him with someone else as a family and yes she did have time because she gave him the artifact before she left him alone.
Sure ei had reasons for why she acted the way she did but yall excuse her because she had a sad story when scaras is basically identical to her where everyone he connected with died or 'betrayed him' but oh no scara doesnt get a pass and deserves everything bad because hes killed people let just ignore ei also has killed people imorally because her sister died boohoo
@@Renaknight I think you mostly got my point in a round about way, I don't excuse Ei but most people I see do excuse Scara just for what Ei did to him I thought that was unfair since their both similar I think they both did awful things due to their curcumstance and people shouldn't just hate on Ei, but yeah I agree that if Ei got involved most of that stuff wouldn't have happened so I am pretty irritated that she left him by himself like that hopefully we'll get to see something where she is faced with the consequences of her own actions like how Scara was but so far I don't think so, most Archons aside from Nahida/Buer seem pretty careless though that irritates me too props for Nahida caring so much for her people I admire that
@@Renaknight Ei did face some consequences, she had to fought her puppet for 500 years non-stop since the puppet was programmed to rebel against her if she no longer pursuit an eternity of stillness.

There's just too much emotions right now, I can only cry. I know I've said this many times but I really want them to meet each other. For a closure. It doesn't mean that he has to go back to her but just talk everything over and clear everything.

@@clouded5667 It's basically "immortality" type 1 since the longevity applies to characters who can still grow old or do not age at all, but not dying as a result to natural causes. Pretty much most myths with that concept such as the Norse or Greek Pantheon.

Sorry to break it to you but he already erased himself from Irminsul. Irminsul is the root of knowledge that forms and safes all details of history in Tevat and the people who are a part of Tevat. Since Scaramouche erased himself from Irminsul, everyones memory about him are gone and the incidents that had him involved in it are rewritten. Ei, Yae Miko and even the Fatui don't even know about his existence. Only we still remember him because we are not a true part of Tevat witch is why we are the only person in Tevat that are not effected by this change.

Ei still created him but now without knowing who he is she has probably truly abandoned him the second after she created him, hence why he doesn't know his creator until now. Even Yae Miko the one who knows everything in Inazuma doesn't know about is existence! 💀💀
