Hip Hop Dance vs Bhangra Part 1 @ NBA Toronto Raptors Half Time BATTLE for Nav Bhatia

- On April 2nd history was made at the Toronto Raptors Baisakhi Game as 32 young Hip Hop and Bhangra Dancers ages 8-17 took to the court for a collaborative performance the likes that no one has ever seen before!!
On request of Toronto Raptors Superfan Nav Bhatia to create a half time show starring Youth skilled in both Hip Hop and Bhangra Dance, Choreographer Jade Jager Clark enlisted the talent of fellow Brampton power house SGPD House of Bhangra. Together students of both studios worked together learning techniques from both genres of Dance putting on a spectacular Half Time Show that had the Superfan joining in and dancing along!
On behalf of both studios and all dancers we would all like to thank Nav Bhatia and Rinku @fictionstreetmedia for this amazing opportunity.

What about the Chinese people here in Toronto which have a very active following in Toronto. Why don't the Raptors attract Chinese people with fusion dancing, etc.?
This was a specially created performance for Nav Bhatia the Raptors superfan to celebrate Basiakhi month and fuse traditional dance form called Bhnagra from his culture with Hip Hop. Toronto Raptors and NBA teams have paid tribute to Chinese new year in the past but not through dance, yet. It's not a bad idea at all! This video is celebrating diversity and if you notice there are dancers of Asian descent as well as many other cultures in the video.
Appreciating certain cultures doesn't mean you're neglecting others. This was so unnecessary man.
