    Thanks Narf! Brilliant tutorial! I was a bit intimidated by the combi creation process, but you did a great job of guiding us through it. Also, thank you for making it so easy to buy and install your 3rd party combis. I thought I was going to struggle with the process, but your instructions were perfect, and I love playing those amazing 80's rock sounds. Keep up the good work!

    I have Korg Krome. Often, between Kronos, Krome and now Nautilus, there's some similar functionality. However, Nautilus substantially simplifies layers and splits. I tried setting up a new combination in Krome the same way as you did with Nautilus in your tutorial. It looks so much easier in Nautilus, although there's likely still a huge learning curve. Thank you for an excellent tutorial.

    Wow, it’s going to take awhile to learn how to use the full potential. Super happy with my nautilus so far… It’s mind boggling what it can do… it was a big step for me as a guitar player and new to keyboards, but I wanted something that I can grow into and not be limited, seems it’s far more capable than I realized… Thank you for the great and more importantly, useful information….

    Hi Narf.. Really enjoyed the video.. I just purchased a Nautilus 88 and this video helped tremendously!! I was a former OASYS and Kronos owner and was a little skeptical at buying another Korg workstation, (well of the Kronos nature, didn't like the board at all, so traded it in for a Krome due to weight and usability).. But am now digging into this board for live use with my other boards (Nord Electro 2 seventy three and Yamaha MODX7, I also have a Kawai MP7 for piano) but am hoping this is going to replace the MP7 and the Nord in my rig to get down to just the 2 boards.. Thank you so very much for this informative video and am going to look for more videos from you.. Also, I will be purchasing some of your sound packages, keep up the great work and thank you...........

    This is great, thank you so much! I'm an old customer of yours Francis. You've helped me a lot with my covers band.
    Today I had an issue though... and for the life of me I couldn't figure out what was going on.
    New combination, in bank C right from scratch: I add the sounds and they are all added with like a 'bouncy' effect, like a quick pitch bend back and forth thing that makes them sound really goofy and off. I checked and I wasn't adding any effects on mfx, tsx, ifx etc. so... where does that annoying effect come from? When I create a combination from quick layer I don't have that issue (quick layer and then adding new sounds to the combi they all add ok as they are on their own). I must be doing something wrong because this is right new from factory (Nautilus AT 61 keys).

    Hi Francis, been following this video through slow time, replicating the processes on my Nautilus 73. At 38.35 you access IFX2, then press the "P" button, upper right on the screen to access an option of a number of presets. When I try this, the drop down menu shows a load of user banks. Am I missing a trick, or do you have to build the presets, and if so, how?

    • @narfsounds
      @narfsounds Před 2 lety +1

      Scroll to the left and the presets should be there. Note that the newer effects introduced later on the Kronos do not have presets and will only yield User slots. These include the vintage effects category and a few others.

      Yes since the Nautilus is just below the Kronos in the model line up, it doesn't have the number pad, sliders and as many tactile switches. It has the functionality of the Kronos with the control layout of the Krome. Except for KARMA2 feature, the Nautilus is just as capable as the Kronos far as functionality goes. I do enjoy playing the new sounds on it a lot.
