I'm a Korg man myself but seriously, I swear we are living in unprecedented times with regards to sound quality now... huge dynamic range, and pure clean, crisp quality. Great stuff. Competition is good. We benefit.

Nautilus... Incredible!
I've been playing mostly Roland, Yamaha and Sequential Circuits (Six Trak, for example) for 40 years, but when I needed the Korg sound, the M1, M3, Kronos and now the Nautilus were always my first choice.
You can't compare Nautilus and Montage with each other. Both have a right to exist.
I prefer the Montage!

Both great instruments but for the price, the Nautilus is a BEAST especially the accompaniments.

For the price and functions (full sequencer), the Nautilus is unbeatable. The Montage is fantastic but more than twice than Nautilus.

What monitors do you use for the videos? They sound excellent, low en and trebles and mids sound so clear.

Well at most of sounds Yamaha is concentrated in Side and its wider than Nautilus. That its making that more itself mixable with the band. But in another side Nautlius sound very strong on the Mid part and is great for playing solos and get that push straight into your center. I prefer both for my work. I think they complement each other!
Que increíble el cambio de una máquina a la otra...¡¡¡ yamaha no hay con que darle..¡¡ Korg es muy bueno y tiene mucha historia... pero en pianos acústicos.. yamaha es el Rey¡¡ fijencen cuando cambia, el sonido del yamaha es muy natural, tiene cuerpo, más oscuro,, tiene un poder de Sampleo el montage tremendo¡.. igual deberían hacer la comparación contra el kronos¡¡ ya que el nautilus es un teclado que compite con el Modx... no esta a la altura del kronos
Pregunta amigo se puede samplear en el yamaha?
En costo rendimiento es mejor el Korg por lo que ofrece beneficio costo y vale mucho menos que el montage….

Totalmente de acuerdo, con Yamaha no tenés que modificar ningún sonido, ya están "ready to use", en cambio Korg tiene los sonidos de fábrica muy crudos y para que suenen bien tenés que sí o sí modificar algo. Supongo que ese es el espíritu del cliente de Korg, inclusive lo hacemos sin darnos cuenta terminando siendo "ingenieros" de sonido. A tener en cuenta también quién sube el video a YT, por ejemplo este muchacho tiene el volúmen del Nautilus al 100% y eso puede generar esa distorsión y resonancia que hace mal al oído especialmente en los pianos. Para mí go for Yamaha si te gusta componer música, en cambio Korg si es para tocar en vivo en algún grupo, ya que justamente por su alta resonancia hace que suene más potente en vivo.

in yamaha montage it pissed me off that the sound was less dynamic than in the korgu little space and when you turn off the reverb because all the sounds have the reverb on yamaha is lost, the assembly is more for a fairy tale
it seemed that the volume was displayed more on the Korg (probably on purpose)
@@vitalytantserev3505 if not for the effects that are in every sound, yamaha montage on clean samples falls out poorly in relation to the korg ... in my opinion ... everywhere there is dynamics average greetings..but these are my subtle feelings in the sound having both instruments with yamaha it is more like plastic in sound

mah, sinceramente preferisco i suoni yamaha nonostante la korg abbia i tanto acclamati 9 generatori sonori, sull FM yamaha top in questa fascia di prezzo . Il problema rimane uno, i campioni di queste macchine sono anni luce da quello che offrono i VST al giorno d'oggi, quindi per una questione meramente di comodità potrei optare all'acquisto di una di quesi synth.
Con le dovute precauzioni a fare il paragone che esprimero' tra poco, ma parliamo di un paragone puramente sonoro quindi al netto del fatto che sto parlando di un arranger e di un synth, non riesco a capire ne Yamaha e ne Korg, hanno tutte e due delle ammiraglie arranger con campioni al top, perchè non inserirli nei synth? Esempio in Yamaha che utilizza AWM2 perchè non ha inserito la super articulation della Genos (tecnologia gia presente nelle ultime tyros) con i campioni presenti nell'ammiraglia arranger? tralasciando i suoni pad, lead, per il resto i suoni di questi synth sembrano quelli di 20 anni fa. Con 2800 euro ci compri TB di VST

The Nautilus is definitely the better deal. I'm also a bit disappointed that the Montage doesn't have an on board sequencer. Kinda cinched it for me.

Non riesco più a vedere l'utilità di queste macchine nel 2021...Se voglio suonare jazz con un gruppo mi basta uno stage di massimo 1000€ con 3/4 suoni decenti;se voglio produrre allora utilizzo i plugin che hanno molta più qualità. I contesti pop dal vivo dove potrebbero ancora avere senso queste macchine sono ormai pochissimi.
Io suono in band che fanno cover rock. Anche dal vivo oramai io uso solo virtual instruments. Esistono software tipo vst host che ti permettono flessibilità ed automazione perfette. Tipo Cantabile e GigPerformer.
Ho una Montage7 ed un Kronos 61. Prendono polvere a casa.
Li tengo per amore.
Invece una Nord Stage 3 è durata poco, l'ho venduta...
Good point but the Nautilus goes for $1699. Less than a quality laptop with vsts. So there is a context for it at that price.

Non riesco a capire il posizionamento del NAUTILUS. Dovrebbe essere un sostituto del KRONOS ma la maggior parte delle comparative lo mettono insieme a MODX e FANTOM 0X e quindi una spanna sopra queste due in teoria, ma in quasi tutti questi viene considerato come ultimo tra le 3 ..utimo.. (boh)
Il Nautilus è praticamente una Kronos senza Karma e senza controlli esterni, ovviamente queste funzionalità fanno la differenza e la si può tranquillamente paragonare a MODX+ e FANTOM 0
