The tank you were driving happens to be a M26 pershing, the heaviest, most deadly tank the american army producedt up until the 1960's (at least, different versions of it) its main gun, a 90mm muzzle break hindloader, was famous for its capacability of shooting german tigers and king tiger from distances up to 1 kilometer. You, fine sir, are piloting a beast.

Actually after the release of the m16 and m103, the pershing and t264(super pershing) were only used as reserve tanks, very uncommon to see either of those four tank examples because the fields of war were full with Sherman jumbo's and easy eights. Check your history mr ;)
ps. you can't "pilot" a tank it's called driving.. :P

SIMON you cannot fly a plane sideways, this is basic common sense
You can by using the vertical elevator, it's a maneuver called knifing.

I feel cheated, a little, since i've been playing this game for a good few weeks before these guys but they have so much more than me.
It's a shame. :(
Saying that, it's fucking hilarious watching Simon and Duncan being overwhelmed with the stuff they have since they're massive noobs.
They already have this stuff because they bought it with real life cash. Or they were already playing before they released the videos on this game so they have progressed really far. I think they just bought everything.
The servers were jammed up, if you use a good pc and you wait more than 5 seconds for a match you will find many.
That's becuse they are getting free stuff in the game for gameplay from the developers

The guys who created this game should do something special to the game because now it's too much like every "simulation" war game there is.

It's like if COD and BF 1942 had a baby.
This game is painful to play, it takes aaaaages to log in and is horrible grind fest.
Also, 6 or 7 minute wait before every game.
These things are all true. However, I find that for me it's a great way to casually let off some steam after work or whatever, and I kind of like roleplaying as a faceless nobody with basic gear, so the mechanics work pretty well for me.
as a player who specializes in aircraft combat, I'm finding Simon's flying painful to watch. YOGSCAST GUARANTEE!!!

Simon, just one little piece of advice: when flying a plane, you shouldn't point it's nose at the ground.
This is so much better then Call of Duty will ever be. This is the type of realism we need. Not guns that move up and down twice for every thirty steps you take, and grenade launchers that take two hits.
i've been playing H & G for a week now and I'm really loving it. I massively recommend.

this game is bloody amazing when you are the one playing it because it lets you play however you want to instead of assuming that you are the person who likes getting up close and personal instead of being an ultra tactical friggin machinegun weilding ninja! (although it has made me discard what little social life i had)

I like the look of this. It reminds me very much of all the good times in Battlefield 1942, but updated.
@YOGSCAST Lewis and Simon Light tanks are scouting tanks, Mediums,Tank Destroyers and artillery are mainly the sniper tanks,while the heavies are the close combat Tanks.
Please carry on this series because i think its really funny and I love it!

This game is so pay to win it hurts, the only way to get any decent weapons or vehicles is grind, but once you play for a while your gun wears out and you have to pay for another which sets you back again

Tiger II to be exact also known as the King Tiger has 150mm of angled front armor and 185mm in turret front
I had a dream last night that simon, lewis, sjin, and duncan were all in the military. They each had a train and were tasked with getting it from point a to point b as quickly as possible through hostile terrain. Sjin got gunned down about 5 seconds in, duncan survived for a bit and then ran into a gigantic herd of cows (his scream was terrifying.) then it was just S&L for a bit, and then there was a tearful breakup when lewis realized his train was too big for a tunnel that was only 100 ft ahead of him and he was going to crash. Then somehow he came out the other side unscathed. Then I woke up. Gosh darn it, that was my best dream in a while and I woke up before the conclusion!

Thank you yogcast, after being such idiots playing this, being a tanker is soo much easier. 90% of allied forces are yognaughts charging forward through the open firing their starter rifles at my tank. The crouch button also must be locked to them or something.
I very much doubt Simon is THAT incompetent. He really looked like he crashed those planes on purpose. I mean, it gives some viewers joy watching him fail "hilariously", but come now.

Lewis, the Shovel WOULD be effective if the game actually had a decent Melee weapon Hit register, and unfortunately, almost a year later, they STILL haven't gotten around to fixing it.
