Davy this looks awesome but that price is a kick in the nuts! LOL {Neil Young Archives Vol. III (1976-1987)(17 CD & 5 Blu-Ray) [Deluxe Edition] $449.98
With all the content on the blurays - with some classics like the Berlin show- we're getting 17 discs and 11 films. Just over $16 each if you split them up, which isn't bad at all. Still a lot of money, of course. I get promos for these one-off discs and the mid-sized boxsets - but I'm paying for the box, with zero issue. I've had money kept aside from it for ages! I'll try and do justice with a review! There is the lower price version if you just want the CDs, and some discs will be released standalone in the next few years. We're also getting more releases like Dublin '96 with Pearl Jam on the Mirror Ball tour. Never quiet!
Thanks Davy! Yet another "aural Rorschach" from Neil & NYA (as one reviewer put it). OK, by us. The more confounding, the better when it come to Neil & The Vaults. Danny Whitten’s “Look At All The Things” is another reminder of gone far too soon.
Great review, will definitely pick up, I don’t know about over there in the UK but here in Canada Neil’s new releases tend to be overpriced. $32 for a single CD is a bit ridiculous but unfortunately this seems to be a trend. Finally found Fu##in’ Up this week at half the price of Early Daze.
