    Devin: the cleanest bike builder...as referenced by his continued attire of button down shirts, and anything but garage gear lol. Bravo.

    Super sharp looking so far. I agree with you about the mirror ; sucks that it can’t go underneath. It just doesn’t look right up top

    So you can just make your own air filters like that? It’s really that simplistic? My life is all a lie wow. Great craftsmanship throughout the whole video!

    Clean build, BTW, wonder why you are not working on a RE650, I would like to see an Enfield similar to your XS650 credentials.

    What I’d love to know, as I’m new to rebuilding motorcycles (just started mine about 6 months ago….2013 Moto Guzzi v7 Racer), is with regards to aftermarket switches like these in the vid. I’ve come to learn these are referred to as “momentary contact switches” so my question is are there OEM switches/buttons on my v7 Racer (or any bike I guess) that cannot be replaced by these aftermarket switches? Lights and starter button are what come to mind as the current OEM switch turns them on until I turn them off, so they are not momentary. Or am I being too literal in my understanding of a momentary contact switch? Thanks in advance for any help……and loved this video.

      @CognitoMotoTV  Před 2 lety

      Correct. To run these momentary switches you really need an m-unit

    what combination switch are you using

    Is necessary the M button ? For the switch's? I want to install just the switchs!!!!!

    • @CognitoMotoTV
      @CognitoMotoTV  Před 4 měsíci

      You dont need the m-button. We did not use it here. You do need the m-unit because these are momentary switches.

    Hi
    Super clip
    Im looking at fitting the same grips on my re gt650 did you just bin the bar end weights completely ?
    Regards
    Dave from Scotland

    • @CognitoMotoTV
      @CognitoMotoTV  Před 2 lety

      They are pieces of plastic in the end of the bars. They are not really weighted ends.

    Where did you get that throttle assembly?

  • @sanderziugov
    @sanderziugov Před 3 lety

    Why didn't you turn the stacks instead?
    A lot less effort and setup.
    Great stuff tho.

    • @CognitoMotoTV
      @CognitoMotoTV  Před 3 lety

      Since it was just two the setup and fixturing to do it on the lathe would take more time than just doing it on the mill. When it goes to production it will be turned on the lathe.

    • @sanderziugov
      @sanderziugov Před 3 lety

      @@CognitoMotoTV fair enough. I'm running the lathe most of the time, therefore when ever I see something that can be turned, I'll turn it..
      I'm also doing bike stuff, you can check out my instagram, if you like: allthings_zed

    Which brembo unit is the front master?

    • @CognitoMotoTV
      @CognitoMotoTV  Před 3 lety

      This is actually from a Thruxton R. The R6 has a brembo as well.
