Is that definitely one month? Root growth and pups look like more than one month.

You are very careful to remove all of the rootstock. Will something bad happen if some is left or is it just for the long-term aesthetics? Thanks!

I'm trying to root a couple degrafted ferocactus glaucescens split rock. They look like they are very slowly developing roots, but they are becoming very shriveled. Is there any way to rehydrate them? Will they be okay without more water?

Some cacti used for grafting die after a while, some people prefer the degrafted look, and also they might just want the rootstock and scion as opposed to only the scion growing
