literally just got back from Donington after saying farewell to the guys and as always they delivered one hell of a show
In 2010 I was in a band here in Buffalo NY we opened for Kiss. Basically we were treated like royalty. They fed us gave us our own dressing room took care of our gear & even though they were having technical issues made sure we got a soundcheck plus front row tickets to watch them. Hung out with them & manager Doc MaGhee after the show. They were great & I've opened for plenty of big acts. We were also introduced on stage by Paul's late guitar tech Francis. Great guys all even there bodyguard who I recognized used to work for Bon Jovi. Anyway as a 63 yr old bassist I've been a fan of Kiss since the start.
Going to see KISS this Saturday...August 20 in Melbourne...woooooooooooo!

FYI...It cost $11.99 to see the museum, it's not free admission.
When I was there in 2017, they had a lot of the instruments on display and Eric Carr's Porsche that the band gave him when he joined. They were on display in the KISS Store and
it was free to see.
i think i had a Kiss wallet and a Kiss beach towel back in the early 80s. the beach towel was legit cool. i probably still have it somewhere,

I do think Gene was a narcissist at one time, but grew out of it and just made that into part of his act. You never hear about him acting like a narcissist when in private, only when he is doing interviews. He knows exactly how far he can take the narcissist act without sounding like an ass. A real narcissist is not that self aware. That's part of what makes him so great. You always walk away from a meeting with him with a smile.

I don't know if it is still there but there is a Kiss Coffee Shop in Myrtle Beach at Broadway at the Beach. I went a few times. It had their coffee in there and other cool merch. When I am back in Vegas I will def be going to check this out! Thanks for the preview!

Seems Sanrio the owners of the Hello Kitty brand will do cross promo work with almost anything that will make them money, except promoting guns, knives, drugs, smoking(cigs, vapes, etc..), and hard alcohol/liquor(yes there are Hello wines, and wine glasses, and the wine I tried some years back tasted like cheap swill IMHO). One of my ex's use to collect Hello Kitty, including some of the Kiss merch, so I know more about it then one man ever should 😅
