I just went natural and found out I have 4b/c . I thought I never had a curl pattern but I'm so happy now, I love it.

To make the curl pattern permanent you MUST deep conditioning with heat weekly and co wash the hair. No sulfates.

You can get the same look but more hydrated with grease or vaseline. Don’t forget the oil part of any and all hair styles for 4c hair.

I got moderately long 4c Nigerian hair and I've never learned how to do wet curls. I'm doing this right after a deep condition and so far it's working okay, but I don't have the Eco castor oil but the olive oil. It hasn't dried yet so idk if it'll be crunchy or I need something heavier but thanks for the crash course 😊

From experience I was using that eco gel and other gel that is not natural and I grew a bald spot ☠☠☠ never againnn sis ...so I use flaxseed gel it's good for 4c hair texture idk about the other hair types but you can style it and slick your hair down and it still look healthy and grow your hair loves hope this helped anyone💜💜

so ya boy is definitely on a hair journey, Had long hair all my life cut it low then grow it back all the time, because when it gets a big afro I never like the dry curl look, I always do my hair and it loses moisture in the next couple of hours and the next day I be looking like a mushroom brilo pad 🥴 Learning to define my curls and maintain my moisture and this video just blessed me lol ✅💫

I have 4c hair The first step is already a no go for me if water touches my hair it’s shrikes almost instantaneously I know damp hair is essential so my question is how would I avoid getting shrinkage after putting water shrinkage
The gel is water based and will shrink your hair regardless. Suggestion: Still follow the steps and try the african threading method to see if it will avoid the shrinkage but still keep the curls popping. I personally haven’t tried it but I think it might help your situation. Let me know how it goes :)

I’m so happy I saw this i have curly hair but I always wanted 4a curls
I honestly only use "African Pride, olive miracle moisturizing lotion" and than use home made flaxseed gel, finger detangle the sections that dont look to good🤷🏽♀️ I'm to broke to buy a denman brush😭
What’s in your homemade flaxseed gel sis?? Share the secret ! And you can buy a brush in the dollar store 😩
🤣 honestly I just put in 2 cups of water or however much you think you need, and add half a cup of whole flaxseed, and I personaly put in half a hand full of fresh peppermint leaves(cut first so the smell is more prominent). I wait for the water to be to an almost boil than add the seeds, and after a minute or 2 add the leaves, boil until the mixture is kind of thick and slimy (it shuld stretch when you take the spoon out of the mix) you wait till it's cold to ur preference and than pour it into a thin sock or something you can squeeze the mix through so it separates the gel form the seed and leaves. Voila you got yourself some flax gel😀 (tbh I like to separate the mix when it's still kind of hot, its easyer to get through the sock, but burns your hands a bit if u squeeze for too long🤣)
@@AshleyBoatemaa I'll try to find the brush at the dollar store🤣 but recently I figured out that twist outs look far better on me and gives my hair the length i want it to have, i literally only make like 7 big sections of my hair and twist, when I take them out it's the perfect mix of messy curls and just a bit of frizz for volume, but it looks good and its easyer to detangle for next wash day, my tight and kinky curl pattern makes it ner impossible to detangle😪🤣

Hi hunn, I’m glad this video helps. Regarding the gel, everyone’s head is different, I've seen people say that it affects their hair or scalp. But for me it's fine. I would recommend just trying it and see how your scalp reacts to it.

I loved this moose and my curls popped without brushing. I used a different gel. I got curious about the smell and the metal container because it smelled a little like gas. I turned the container over and wow, the second ingredient was propane! It's the thing that makes the foam swell up! I was sorry but I had to let it go.
Ohh wow. Interesting. Tbh I only used it because It gave my curly wig a very nice shine and thought it would do the same for my natural hair.

i’m trying to get my hair curly because my hair is heat damaged and it’s really dry what products do i use please respond.
I would say try and deep condition your hair or put a hair mask. It will bring back moisture in your hair. If it's an option, maybe trim your hair. I find that my hair grows and curls nicer everytime I cut/trim.
