That was me at 0:52 getting sprayed down with the Legendary Drum Gun! I am both flattered and offended that I got to be in this video. 💀 The funny thing was, I was telling my brother about this game earlier today, and shortly after, when we were eating lunch and browsing CZcams, I told him to click on the video because I recognized the player's name. I quickly realized that it was the exact game I had been in! At first, my brother didn't believe me when I was telling him that this was the game I had been talking about, but then we both laughed when we saw my name pop up. After Zarraxus hunted me down, I spectated him, and I was shocked that he was able to hunt everyone else down and win the game. Dude made it look so easy. GGs!

He's a great player but an obvious weakness was discovered in this footage: driving into tree trunks. Simply lure his car into a wooded area and when he gets stuck, destroy him.

I’d highly recommend him making a channel and posting his raw high elimination gameplays. There doesn’t have to be a voice over or anything. So much to learn from a fighting aspect that I’d absolutely love to watch more of them.

Exactly. It reminds me of watching TFue. You can learn from how he plays amd get better. Even of you aren't running on PC or top of the line gear there is a lot to take away from this.
Z should be placed into a "forced retirement" dude is just a menace in this game. Also as aggro as he is I like knowing I have escaped his full charge on a couple of occasions. I might not be able to kill him but my rat skills have kept me alive once he has put his sites on me....lol
Great video. My key takeaway is how you said Zarraxus forced himself to try to do everything faster and that increased his APM over time as he kept pushing himself. That’s something any of us can work on.
Lol i always do things fast and always lose cus ofc im shooting first but my shot lands 5mm from target and then going to lobby 💀 So it doesnt work, dont do things fast, first do them perfectly but slow

and also its kinda hard to spot people constantly running but you're easy to spot when moving much so you'd better be as good as zarraxus in your aim and always have dashes if you want to run around map
Been playing with Zarraxus in ranked recently, he actually makes ranked fun. Much more fun than the campy gameplay I’ve sometimes been forced to play in higher ranks.
I think the word you’re going for is confidence. Just as much as this is a mechanical game it is a mental battle as well. Zarraxus has no lapse in his confidence throughout this entire game. Almost every one of his engagements start with HIM shooting, which tells his opponents, “I can win this fight.” The mental warfare going on from being tagged for low damage over a period of time creates anxieties in even the most hardened of players, never giving them time to catch their breath. Zarraxus is too confident in his own abilities to be defeated mentally in this game, and unfortunately, confidence is a really hard thing to teach…
True. However, confidence is pretty easy to purchase.

Yea I agree with you. I’ve come across players who just put relentless pressure and I usually start feeling defeated overtime. I usually try to shock and reposition and get tags or something, but against this guy I don’t know if be able to lol
Confidence is something you can't really teach. It's something you gain through repeated exposure to you winning most engagements. The thing is, if someone is confident and not capable, that's called delusional.

I've noticed that when good players get damaged early, their first instinct is to escape and "reset" the fight. Zarraxus's ability to chase is so insane he never lets the fight get reset and I don't think many players know how to handle that; they caught caught in flight mode and fried.
This makes me think I should just stop playing FN and start mowing lawns. Too good!

Guy has extremely good aim. that’s what makes his w keying in a sense safe because he probably knows he will probably won’t miss any of his shots. I’d probably miss all my shots if I played this agro. He has good reaction and his flicks are on point. Really amazing analysis.

When i played in the Shinobi V Bucks cup, i was only able to play one game because of dinner, but Zarraxus was driving around in a G Wagon and he ran over my bush and then proceeded to put so much pressure on me that i never had a chance. Truly insane Zarraxus, you're crazy

Such an awesome video, really educational! I'd love to see more videos of you reviewing his gameplay, but also of you reviewing gameplay from players at different levels. So like: this is a beginner/intermediate player, they could improve xyz (but like, appropriate to that level)

15:40 i was sort of following along the gameplay and saw similarities between my gameplay and zarraxus's but that EMP play was insane, i didnt even notice it on the floor i wouldve just given up chasing at that point or even before. really is the small things that seperate the average players and the high tiers

He uses them very well, almost like he’s psychic and can know where you are at all times
It’s actually smart to keep the waterbending mythic while fighting in water considering it heals you if you’re in water in general.
interesting, I will try applying some of these tips into my own game.
I think this should be a thing where you analyze players similar to Zarraxus that you enjoy watching or playing with. We can still learn from your analysis and their playstyle to add in our own gameplay as well.

I was very pleased with your analysis
Key points I noticed:
He neither relied on a sniper nor did snipers work on him.
Third parties were also ineffective
Campers couldn't hide (guy hiding in the roof)
He proved that snipers aren't overpowered and siphon isn't needed.
Awareness and efficiency (as you frequently teach about)
Any aim training map you can recommend?
Can you add the avatar mythics in the training grounds map?

I had never heard of Zarraxus before. I was expecting a video where an average player gets feedback on what they can do better. If there's one thing Zarraxus isn't, it's average. He is a very fast and impressive player. Luckily I'm a small silver casual player. Hopefully I will never meet him. You did a very good job of breaking down his match.

Wow. I've never seen anyone make Ranked look like that. If he starts streaming ranked like that, he'll be doing something nobody is doing--not even Ninja, Prospering, etc. to my knowledge. Toby, your commentary was great as always. You'll always have a career in that if your reflexes and eyesight get as old as mine.

I wouldn't recommend copying sensitivity from someone else. Find what feels comfortable for you and stick with that.

Obviously Zaraxus is better than 99% of most people but honestly I feel like this really highlights how OP the Cerebus medalion is. Most of his kills looks like hes able to just hunt people down while they are rotating. Not saying he can't drop a 19 bomb without the medallion but it sure would be a lot more difficult to cover that much ground (especially in end game when all the cars have been used up / destroyed). Dude could just straight up dash from bunker to bunker exterminating all the rats trying rank up by pure placement points.
yeah were seeing the same thing in the builds side of the game, the dash medallion makes it so much easier to w key people and end fights really fast

I've gotten away from zarraxus fairly often without taking too much damage... Actually killing him is really hard... I'm really good at running away and repositioning and you can't have bad aim against zarraxus so 9.9 times out of ten I'll likely avoid fighting him if I can help it

While your vids have helped, i still get made fun of by my friends because of how bad I am and dont know what to do. Watch his older vids, he has one like 2 weeks ago on taking fights. Literally just watch the videos and pay attention. He constantly gives out advice for free in his quality videos. Just play a game and the goal is to fight more instead of running away and hiding, who cares if you win.
Hey, first thing to remember is “it’s just a game.” It’s designed to have fun. I’m a self-proclaimed “bot” and I get frustrated because I don’t feel at times like I’m getting any better. But it’s ok, because the player I am now would smoke the player I was 6 months ago. For what it’s worth, take my “old man advice.” Enjoy your time with this. Also, just pick one thing a day or per week and focus on that one aspect. For example, this week, be purposeful about using the right hand peek. Look for that advantage in every single fight you take. Don’t worry about accuracy or anything else. Only work that right hand peek. Then next week, work on moving from cover to cover throughout the whole game. If you pick one thing at a time to get better at, eventually, you’ll be better at a lot of things. Worst thing that happens is you go back to the lobby and start another game. Keep grinding.
