gunaa overacting aanu. Saved only because of Kanmani song. Bharatham is a performance of a lifetime, an acting masterclass by Mohanlal. Nobody comes close.

@@jacobjacob6334 Obv tamil peeps doesnt appreciate subtle acting. If u cry they want u to bawl out and cry, anger means u should screaM and hit and all. Its all over the top. Subtle acting is an elevated art stressing on microexoression which only people who have mastered the acting skill can do. u will know it if u have watched hollywood movies especially actors like DDL, Brando and all. Even mammooty is a goat of subtle acting.
Even kamal and Rajni has told several times that they refrain from doing smaller and more subtler movies because of the toxic fans they have and the overall mindset of tamil people.

I am the biggest fan of Kamal Haasan Sir's, and he is a visionary.
However, an actors memorial is his movies and missing out an opportunity to work with fantastic directors like Sathyan Anthikad, Sibi Malayil, Blessy, Vetrimaaran, Mysskin, Bala, Saji Karun, Ram, Selvaraghavan etc. has resulted in Kamal Haasan missing part of so many great movies..
This has been capitalized by fantastic actors like Mohanlal and Mammootty..
Although this is just Sibi Sir's version of events that transpired, and one needs to understand Kamal Haasan version to be fair, this had been a common concern among many directors..
Kamal Sir still has time and needs to do the necessary course correction..
Mammootty Sir is able to do movies with such different scripts only due to not over interfering with the directors.
Even Mammootty and Mohanlal Sir would interfere for sure. However, it would be in moderation ..
