After a month without flying at all (and more than six weeks without flying this plane), I jumped in the Cessna 172 and took advantage of a beautiful summer evening to work on some landings. Come along for some practice, including forward slip to no flap landing.

You make really good content. I have 700 hours but took a long break. Purchased a Zodiac 601 XL a few days ago. Lucked out & found a hanger to rent. If you take request, this iPad Foreflight thing is new to me. I'd like to see a 101 video on that if thats what you're using. Thanks for all the editing work you do. People do not know what's all involved.

Good to see you in the 172 again - don't leave us commoners behind! Solid rhythm and flow for having been away for a month. If I don't fly for even a week I feel so off and it takes awhile (student life). Really nice landings! Oh and thanks for pointing out the traffic... I was squinting, and then BOOM - an arrow pointing it out... you read my mind.

I live in Norther Virginia and plan on building either a 2 seater or 4 seater soon. My brother passed and I grounded myself but will take to the skies soon. Maybe add your airport to my cross country list. Take care.
Great practice landings! I did the same thing yesterday in preparation for taking some first time passengers - I haven't flown in 17 days and that felt uncomfortable already. Always a good idea to do flight practice even if for just half an hour.
What iPad are you using? A mini? Seems like the perfect size
