I love how you can choke cymbals on electric kits man it’s so god
Im caught between this kit and the kvx is there much difference or is it just the hi hat thats different thanks 👍 great video
Como ensamblar o poner sonido en el aro ?
I'm buying this kit
Does this have a bell ride??
Such a great drummer! Do you know if this kit has the same price as the Roland td -17kv?
Thank you very much :) you can find the kit over here:
www.drum-tec.com/roland-td-07kx-v-drums-kit
Kind regards!
Nice.
Can you do Drum-Tec set with Dtx Pro module?
There is a video by Simon Edgoose on how to set the module up with mesh heads.
So I guess it's compatible with your kit set.
Coming up some time soon... Kind regards!
I'm considering buying this model as well. Do you believe it to be a good choice for an intermediate drummer like myself? I've had a Yamaha DTX-500 for around 10 years now and looking for a solid upgrade. Also, any information if you can add additional parts (second kick pedal, additional cymbals and toms etc.)? Smooth playing and good demonstration as always, keep up the good work mate!
Thank you very much Cem! The Roland will be quite a step up from the Yamaha in terms of triggering/playability/feel for sure!
Actually you might get any customized kit configuration with a TD-07 module from drum-tec! Please feel free to get in touch through experts@drum-tec.de for further assistance and/or an individual quote on your favourite kit configuration including international shipping if you like. Kind regards!
Any update on custom kits for the TD-50X?
Hey Kyle, we will be releasing a new TD-50X sound edition shortly :) kind regards!
Hi anyone reading this comment. I’m currently about to get another kit and I’m debating getting this kit or the kvx. To me it doesn’t seem like there’s a lot different between the 2 but there’s a 200 pound price difference. Please help me lol
Ralph, your playing is awsome. Is the tom pads in this kit, two zones?
Thank you so much Halan, I think the TD-07 only has single zone triggering on the toms, but I can't remember really. Please get in touch through experts@drum-tec.de regarding your question if you like. Kind regards!
@@drumtecTV thank Ralf, you are awsome, for always answer me. I did an deep research but i couldn’t find this information. I am between the Td07 kx an the Legacy a250 boy artesia. Great thanks here from Brazil.
@@drumtecTV because the TD07KX comes with the pdx8 on the tons, but I'm starting to think that is the modulo 07, that dont send sounds to the dual triggers tons.
for Xstick do you have put the stick so that it touches the rim in two spots with this module?
Hey Anton, yes basically you have to play cross stick like that on any Roland/drum-tec/ATV pad (except the digital PD-140DS), so that you don't touch/trigger the head trigger. Kind regards!
A great drummer and a very good demo videos. I just bought this kit and, watching the video, I have an important question for me: how can I get the rim sound that is heard at 1:40? I have not found anything like it in the list of instruments. I would very much appreciate an answer. Sorry, my English is limited (thanks Google…! 😜)
Thank you very much Pancho! That's the cross stick articulation, which you can activate in the module (please refer to your TD-07 manual on how to do it in detail). Kind regards!
@@drumtecTV Thanks for your quick response. I already found the solution!!! But I have a second very important question for me: I had a Roland e-drums (TD-1DMK) with which I obtained the bell sound by hitting the cymbal harder on its head (not on the edge), but with the TD- 07 I am unable to get that sound. I have looked at the manual and I cannot find this option 😬. It surprises me that this possibility does not exist in a supposedly superior module. Is that possible??? Thanks for your answer and thanks, again, to the Google translator 😜😜😜)
@@fjab08 Hi Pancho, you are right, I think the TD-07 does not have that feature, as you can use the crash 2 input to connect a 3 zone ride like the cy-13R. You can find different upgrade options in this video:
czcams.com/video/pTBm_zhmQqo/video.html
Kind regards!
@@drumtecTV Oh my God! That’s incredible!!! Well, thanks again for your reply. I have seen your video with the CY-12R option, but I understand that two cables are necessary, the ride and the crass 2, to obtain the three types of sounds (edge, head and bell) so I would be left without a crash … 😬😢. Well, I will look for a solution. Thank you very much again. And, again, thanks Google…! 🤓
@@drumtecTV On the TD07-KX, could I assign a bell sound on the crash 2 (head or edge, doesn't matter)? Thank you
It's not possible to trigger a bell sound on the ride cymbal then with high velocity sticking like on the TD1?
Hi Jonny, no I think this is not possible. Yet you can use a 3-zone ride with the module (CY-13R or CY-14R-T) instead of using the 2nd crash cymbal though. Kind regards!
have you tried this with double bass pedals? the trigger looks very small
Hey Chris, yes you can use a double pedal on a Roland KD-10 kick pad, but it will be pretty shaky though. Kind regards!
Which drum rug would you recommend for this kit?
For these small Roland TD-07 kits you might use the Roland TDM-10 for example:
www.drum-tec.com/roland-tdm-10-sound-absorbing-drum-carpet
Kind regards!
@@drumtecTV Yup, that's the one I was checking out. Thanks!
Is this better than td17kv (not kvx)
I don't think so, the TD17-Module has more settings and features, e.g. bluetooth connectivity, sound processing similar to the TD50-series, more preset sets etc. Just look at the amount of buttons on the modules :) and the hardware: the snare pad and the tom pads are the same but the cymbals from the TD17 are better, you can see the difference between the rubber/plastic surface at the TD07 and the "all rubber"-surface at the TD17.
I think edrums to acoustic is better because with first edrums, the smaller size helps with accuracy, while transitioning from acoustic to electronic makes it feel weird because of smaller sizes and your used to bigger sizes.
I want that shirt
