I love the Xiphactinus design and move set, but it always felt a little too strong for my tastes. But ocean creatures in ark are horribly balanced anyway, and these guys are tons of fun, so I guess let’s make the most of it and enjoy them

easy underwater cave is now a deathtrap for basi even with 124 saddle, and imprinted breed over 1k melee. lol I turned the corner and literally 15 of these, no exaggeration, turned, surrounded me, I couldnt move, and died within like 8 secs. So now I need an amy to raise and take with me in the caves to return the fav.

If only ASA let us use these underwater creatures in packs... View distance destroying everything. Water tames dont follow or launch like a slingshot and swim out of render distance wich cancel following.
Abyssal Xiphactinus spawn on Island too?
Ok Evo here is my question for you that their finally adding the ark addition creatures to the based game because if your excited then I agree as well but also you should play survive the night with the boys on sausage party that would be really exciting

If they'd given it some fancy fins, it would've been a Siamese Fighting Fish with the flop ability. Seems like they went with the Snakehead instead

I thought these creatures could grab a mount or you. So I'm guessing you didn't get grabbed because your mount was over the drag weight? So probably a bad idea to use a creature like a dolphin to get this given it appears you can grab those per your video.
Correct, it can only grab creatures below 210 drag weight, whether you are mounted on it or not.
