It would be cool to see if L.L. and C.C. have formed their own geass order. Allowing geass to be summarized and explained more easily by having the new cast of characters come across this new order and their hunting of a geass user. Since L.L. and C.C. have been collecting the geass shared they must have learned quite a bit in their time. Can't wait to learn more on what this new season will be. Allows the writers to have more story lines going all at once. As they can be spread across and develop over episodes.
I would like Z to be its own thing with jist a touch of the old. Lelouch and CC should be like antivillains they come across once and they just myseriously vanish or smt because Lelouch used his geass to make them forget what they saw or smt Just a cameo, he doesnt have to be in the spotlight

1) I'd love to see aged-up Tianzi learning how to pilot a KMF, but she's just completly oblivious yet naturally very talented and nearly kills her instructor on accident~XD
2) They used that idea in Nightmare of Nunnally. When you stop and think about what Geasses exist in the main cannon you'll notice that they're all common neurological powers (eg. hypnosis, mind reading, pausing consciousness, predicting the future by eliminating visual input delay, altering memories, seeing ghosts (manifestations of the collective unconscious), etc.) few in the main canon can get a Geass that would be useful on the scale of a KMF-KMF battle (except Bismarck). Powers like telekinesis or true teleportation are typically reserved for spinoffs (except in Akito where a BRS can alter reality and teleport KMFs... but we don't talk about that). Basically, only Geasses that break the established theme of psychic powers would be useful in kmf combat-and that has already been done.
I like 1, and would love 3. But for two...not sure how? In the original show Geass abilities were all mental, not anything you really COULD support with tech. Maybe Rolo could use a pacemaker? But no tech is gonna help Lelouch, Mao, Charles, or Bismark. You need some Geass from Nightmare of Nunnally or something for that.

Student Council camping trip, with Milly making a comeback and maybe becoming part of a music club and conducting the Student Council members as they sing songs around the campfire. Then, it could end in utter chaos at bedtime because Rivalz might start snoring, or Milly might talk in her sleep. 3. Euphemia comes back to life and she marries Suzaku, therefore she is now Euphemia li Britannia Kururugi. 4. Marianne gives birth to Lelouch in a flashback episode. 5. Other flashback episodes, including Nunnally before she became blind and crippled, Suzaku and his father and how Shirley met Lelouch. 6. Lelouch meeting the new characters as seen on the upcoming sketched poster drawing. 7. Clovis coming back to life and becoming a TV show host to cooking shows, quiz shows and even the news in the Code Geass universe. 8. Episodes based on the audio and picture dramas, especially Meeting Milly, Ticket of Dreams, We Can't tell Lelouch, A Woman's Battle, Nunnally Vanished, Uninvited Prince, First Friend, Song of the Secret Base, the picture drama with Lelouch meeting Suzaku, Euphy and the broken plate, the cross dressing festival, Orange Peel, Brown Agony and The Imperial Siblings. 9. An episode where, strangely enough, Lelouch's Geass "speaks" to him. 10. Naoto Ohgi grown up and accompanying Ohgi and Villetta as a member of the Black Knights. 11. More of Lelouch and CC!

I also don't think he would willingly share a bed with C.C. so easily-he tends to get embarrassed about stuff like that. But it could make for a good cute comedic scene between them if C.C. forced herself into his bed after he refused it over and over again. Remember, Lelouch needs to be somewhat reluctant for their relationship to advance for it to stay interesting. 2. Can't do much more at Ashford since everyone would have graduated by now (we are already 10 years into the Zero Requiem during the second Re;surrurection PD). Besides, we already have something like a Student Council camping trip in the Miraculous Anniversary PD and another side story I can't recall off the top of my head where they did traditional Japanese tests of courage. 3. If Euphemia came back to life it would have to come at some terrible cost, otherwise it's just bad storytelling. I do think they could make a plot thread where Suzaku gets in contact with Euphemia's consciousness in C's World-possibly through using Leila's Geass Fragment. That would be interesting-but it would also need to come at a huge cost. Narratively, Suzaku isn't allowed to have a happy ending. He, like Lelouch, are tragic heros. 4. Nothing wrong with that. I'd like to see more of Marianne since even in the expanded universe she doesn't appear very often. 5. Most of these scenes are already PDs, ADs, or Side Stories… 6. They may have already met. This is just speculation, but in the post-credit scene from Re;surrurection we see a mass grave in the forest under a full moon. None of the bodies appear physically harmed, indicating that they may have been killed with a Geass or possibly a drug (reminiscent of how Shin left the Hyuga clan). Only one individual in the pit stands out-a little kid with blue hair in a ponytail-the same hair color and style as Shin. Considering the MC in the poster has a hair braid like Akito had, I'm like 75% sure that this was Akito and Leila's kid-who looks to be about 10 years old; this would line up well chronologically with the Re;surrurection PD. 7. XD. 8. I'd really rather they focus on new material. The side content was shelved and reworked into side content for a good reason… 9. Lelouch will probably speak to the Caretaker of Spacetime at some point. He breaks too many rules and she doesn't like that. We also need to resolve the conflict between her and the Geass Skull-I have an educated theory but I'm not too confident in it. 10. I'm 1000% in on this one. Furthermore, with how much CG likes to make young characters declare their intentions, I have a scene rattling around in my head where Naoto Ohgi says, “one day, I will become Zero!” at the same time as Z says, “one day, I will kill Zero!”. Now that would be spicy! 11. We need a wedding! We see C.C. in a bridal gown and veil standing next to Lelouch in the Re;surrurection post-credit scene. But Lelouch isn't dressed like a groom-instead he is dressed like a priest of Geass. Given that he was making a contract in this scene, it's possible that he was metaphorically “marrying” C.C. to (who I think is Z). Oh and we need some closure on Dasko & Carine as well as Naoto Kouzuki (who is most likely alive according to the Oz photostory) where he was leding the Red Turban rebels in the Chinese Federation ca. R2.
Thanks for that description. I just thought a snoring Lelouch would be funny as I had a dream about a sleeping comparison between dub and sub Lelouch. The English dub sounds gentle, relaxing and a little rough at times when he breathes heavily, but the Japanese one is insanely disturbing to listen to, Jun Fukuyama starts off with a little light snoring along with lip puffing and soft murmuring in his sleep, but then he rips off these really loud snores and weird choking noises, as if the poor guy is having a nightmare.

It’s not so surprising. With each dubbing of Code Geass being dubbed in more languages still in 2023. This fact never made me fully believe they cancelled the rest of what the promised Code Geass continued the series and whatever the Lord would be.
new protag, might be Akito and Leila's kid according to Japanese fans. Plot might have something to do with those Geass Fragments released by Shamna. Director and script writer are different-both don't have any highly acclaimed series under their belts, which is worrying. All in all, I'd expect a 6.5-7.5 show.

I have Yet to he disappointed in any way possible from Ichiro Okouchi or Goro Taniguichi, especially with this flawless masterpiece of a franchise series Code Geass.
too bad thay aren't involved with Z. The director is Yoshimitsu Ohashi (Millennium Acress) and the screenplay is by Noboru Kimura (Amagami, Haiyore! Nyaruko-san, Knights and Magic)... It's probably not going to be a very good show tbh. Expect a 6.5-7.5.

He has plenty of duds Seikoku no Dragonar (6.42), Skate-Leading☆Stars (6.45), Battle Girl High School (5.80)... His best is mediocre and his worst is pretty much unwatchable... I'm sorry, but he is a major downgrade from Ōkouchi imo.

The author originally made up a plot in R2 that they didn't have time to fit into the series of where C.C. was kidnapped by a blue lancelot. Lelouch would come to terms with his feeling and chase her down by himself, saying the line "shes my... shes my....". Then the romance would progress after this but Ichirō Ōkouchi didn't elaborate really any further. It's from his "Memories of Geass" Tweets. Pretty sure its number 65.
I’m not a big fan of the Akito the Exiled, as it feels so out of place within the Code Geass universe in terms of Knightmares and Geass abilities. But one thing I did like about the series was seeing Lelouch be as badass as always in another persona. I’m also sad that Lelouch won’t be the MC anymore but I hope they at least show him interacting with others every now and then ‘cause he IS the biggest player in this whole universe.
I think the only thing I really disagree on is the Geass stuff. I love CG but honestly I'd like this to be a "smaller" story. The original series was concise, but between the OVA's, the movies, the manga, the games, stuff like the audio dramas, all with their own canonicity/universes and so on, it's become a lot and I know a lot of people don't go through it all(heck I haven't gotten into Lost Stories yet and I know from a lot of conversations that I know more about the series than most). I think a simple anime with more back to basics Geass and characters, written well, would be great to THEN start bringing in everything else. Just as an example of what I'm thinking, perhaps someone with a Mao like Geass trying to solve some murder and gets sucked into stopping a Geass cult, and toward the they meet with Leila, opening up another story with her and Akito characters and then we can do another story with Oz characters, and so on. But just my not-thought-out thoughts.
Honestly the biggest thing Ive wanted to see ever since I finished the original series is all the consequences, good and bad, of the Zero Requiem and explore what all Lelouch did to get the reputation of the demon emperor. I mean aside from the light novel where its stated 80 million died during Lelouchs reign, which kinda makes it hard for me to root for Lelouch with a body count that big, we dont get much info as to what went on during those 2 months nor what happened after. Of the top of my head I can imagine britianian soldiers traumatized from being forced by Lelouch to commit evil acts, countless civilians who lost everything and feeling like they have nothing to look foward to, a possible energy crises due to then fugi mines being blown up, and several destabilized countries in the wake of Lelouchs death. I doubt thisll be the plot for Z but Ive always had this idea for r3 where the protagonist was just an ordinary person whose life was ruined by Lelouch during his time as emperor and who despises both him and the Black Knights after hearing the whole truth. At the very least Id feel itd be a unique perspective to explore that could generate unique conflicts.

Then it more or less follows the last 4 episode of the show with several extra scenes that gives a bit more context to things. After Lelouch takes over the Damocles it skips the two months and goes straight to Lelouchs assassinations. Again, little to no info on the two months Lelouchs was dictator. And after tbh.

It's indicated that she has crushes on Suzaku, Schneizel, and (less likely) Lelouch at various points throughout the series and extended universe. There is one scene (I think in the Oz manga) where her crush on Schneizel is pretty clear.

Ironically, the movie (Lelouch of the Resurrection) and it's summarized prequel/retelling are my least favorite lart if the Code Geass. I thought Akito was awesome (regardless of CGI). But Shirley should be dead along with the original events of the anime. If the new series follows the revised version of the original story... Then i dont really care unfortunately. According to the creators, the altered/summarized version of the show and the movie aren't canon.
Lelouch and CC HAS to be in the new series, thats the only important thing.

new protag, might be Akito and Leila's kid according to Japanese fans. Plot might have something to do with those Geass Fragments released by Shamna. Director and script writer are different-both don't have any highly acclaimed series under their belts, which is worrying. All in all, I'd expect a 6.5-7.5 show.
@@I-am-Hrut Thank you! and at the end of the movie they defo set up lelouch and c.c hunting the geass fragments left over and I do agree its a bit worrying they don't but i'm not expecting it to be better then the original as long as its still a fun show to watch at least

I spend a lot of time daydreaming about CG, but I've never been a skilled enough author to write any fanfics; so I just hope that whatever we get ties off some plot threads from the extended universe. But I'll be happy if it just manages not to retroactively ruin R1 & R2 (I hope its set in the AU).
I have Yet to he disappointed in any way possible from Ichiro Okouchi or Goro Taniguichi, especially with this flawless masterpiece of a franchise series Code Geass.
too bad thay aren't involved with Z. The director is Yoshimitsu Ohashi (Millennium Acress) and the screenplay is by Noboru Kimura (Amagami, Haiyore! Nyaruko-san, Knights and Magic)... It's probably not going to be a very good show tbh. Expect a 6.5-7.5.

He has plenty of duds Seikoku no Dragonar (6.42), Skate-Leading☆Stars (6.45), Battle Girl High School (5.80)... His best is mediocre and his worst is pretty much unwatchable... I'm sorry, but he is a major downgrade from Ōkouchi imo.

The author originally made up a plot in R2 that they didn't have time to fit into the series of where C.C. was kidnapped by a blue lancelot. Lelouch would come to terms with his feeling and chase her down by himself, saying the line "shes my... shes my....". Then the romance would progress after this but Ichirō Ōkouchi didn't elaborate really any further. It's from his "Memories of Geass" Tweets. Pretty sure its number 65.

I’m not a big fan of the Akito the Exiled, as it feels so out of place within the Code Geass universe in terms of Knightmares and Geass abilities. But one thing I did like about the series was seeing Lelouch be as badass as always in another persona. I’m also sad that Lelouch won’t be the MC anymore but I hope they at least show him interacting with others every now and then ‘cause he IS the biggest player in this whole universe.
I think the only thing I really disagree on is the Geass stuff.
I love CG but honestly I'd like this to be a "smaller" story. The original series was concise, but between the OVA's, the movies, the manga, the games, stuff like the audio dramas, all with their own canonicity/universes and so on, it's become a lot and I know a lot of people don't go through it all(heck I haven't gotten into Lost Stories yet and I know from a lot of conversations that I know more about the series than most).
I think a simple anime with more back to basics Geass and characters, written well, would be great to THEN start bringing in everything else. Just as an example of what I'm thinking, perhaps someone with a Mao like Geass trying to solve some murder and gets sucked into stopping a Geass cult, and toward the they meet with Leila, opening up another story with her and Akito characters and then we can do another story with Oz characters, and so on.
But just my not-thought-out thoughts.

Honestly the biggest thing Ive wanted to see ever since I finished the original series is all the consequences, good and bad, of the Zero Requiem and explore what all Lelouch did to get the reputation of the demon emperor. I mean aside from the light novel where its stated 80 million died during Lelouchs reign, which kinda makes it hard for me to root for Lelouch with a body count that big, we dont get much info as to what went on during those 2 months nor what happened after. Of the top of my head I can imagine britianian soldiers traumatized from being forced by Lelouch to commit evil acts, countless civilians who lost everything and feeling like they have nothing to look foward to, a possible energy crises due to then fugi mines being blown up, and several destabilized countries in the wake of Lelouchs death.
I doubt thisll be the plot for Z but Ive always had this idea for r3 where the protagonist was just an ordinary person whose life was ruined by Lelouch during his time as emperor and who despises both him and the Black Knights after hearing the whole truth. At the very least Id feel itd be a unique perspective to explore that could generate unique conflicts.
Read the Re; manga... It covers this time period.

@@I-am-Hrut Its start with a recap of the major plot points of the series (and some bonus scenes from right before Lelouchs mom was killed) all the way up to when Lelouch becomes emperor. Then it more or less follows the last 4 episode of the show with several extra scenes that gives a bit more context to things. After Lelouch takes over the Damocles it skips the two months and goes straight to Lelouchs assassinations.
Again, little to no info on the two months Lelouchs was dictator. And after tbh.

It's indicated that she has crushes on Suzaku, Schneizel, and (less likely) Lelouch at various points throughout the series and extended universe. There is one scene (I think in the Oz manga) where her crush on Schneizel is pretty clear.

But the only Code Geass media that wasn't dubbed in English were the 3 recap movies, Nunnally in Wonderland, the R2 sound episodes and the picture dramas for R2 and Resurrection. Oh, and Sayoko's diary and Lelouch's Britannian history, which wasn't even English subbed, let alone dubbed.

Ironically, the movie (Lelouch of the Resurrection) and it's summarized prequel/retelling are my least favorite lart if the Code Geass. I thought Akito was awesome (regardless of CGI). But Shirley should be dead along with the original events of the anime. If the new series follows the revised version of the original story... Then i dont really care unfortunately.
According to the creators, the altered/summarized version of the show and the movie aren't canon.
