Yes this was outright one of her best dance this season. I am dancer in training so I'm going be still working on my exercises and things for years but I do dance time to time and i can see how hard it is just to turn and keep balance.... We really don't give dancers enough credit...
bunnyrabi I'm a dancer too so I definitely see where you are coming from. People don't realize how hard it is to learn some of these moves, especially the most complicated ones (turn combos, switch leaps, tour jete, extensions, etc). So I definitely agree that dancers should get waaayyyy more credit and recognition than they are getting now.

all the girls are obviously amazing dancers, but there's just something about Maddie that is so enchanting and you can't stop watching. Even if they're dancing to the same choreography she just has more emotion.

This is one of those, "you could hear a pin drop" performances. Pretty flawless, she dances with so much emotion, beauty and grace. I'm excited to see the what the future holds for such an ambitious girl. I love that she works hard to get where she wants to be. That is what we should be teaching our kids... You don't get somewhere just because someone feels bad for you because "they know what it's like to not get picked for something" and offers you a place in a music video. Yeah, sorry harsh criticism there. Not only is this performance breathtaking but the girl behind the performance is the most impressive child I have seen in quite some time. Good job Maddie, your hard work is paying off and many of us can see what an amazing little girl you are!!
I agree with abby. This dance is pretty much flawless! I'm a dancer myself, and I didn't see anything she did wrong. Great job Maddie!
she was given so much hate during this show bc she was the favorite but honestly i understand why. she is an amazing dancer. her lines are flawless and the emotion she gives makes you want to watch her. the other kids shouldn’t have been treated as poorly as they were but christi complaining about maddie always winning was a bit rediculous. maddies incredible and u cant deny it

I wouldnt agree with abby that this dance was flawless but for someone her age she is advanced, clean and sharp in most of her movements whether its facial experession turns hands/arm placements...even before i said because she's so good for her age she can beat people 2 or 3 yrs older then her in SOME competitions which she actually did in an episode i believe she got first place

for everyone arguing over it:
1:29 it is a dance move, but she fell. She shouldn't have landed so harshly on both hands and knees. In the trio and even the full version of this dance even maddie herself does it differently. Yes the dance is still amazing yes it could pass as a dance move itself but thats not how it was choreographed. I think it was even better this way
I think the way she did that move added a bit more emotion/soul if you know what I mean, it just seemed more realistic when she hit the floor and the emotion she showed on her face

All the girls are beautiful dancers. And you can work on technique as much as you want and you can fix feet and legs but, there’s something about Maddie that you can’t teach that just captivates you when she dances
To add to that: I really think that Chloe has this too just maybe not as often but she’s definitely something

After this incredible performance, the only people saying she wasn't flawless are haters and crazed Chloe fans (no hate on Chloe though). Maddie is sooooo fantastic!

Phoebe If you've only seen this version, you'd think it's flawless. She actually made a mistake at 1:30 (you can see how this move was supposed to be done in her other versions as well as Kendall's version). But I actually like this version the best, so I guess you could say she covered up the mistake flawlessly. :)

this is my favorite solo anyone has ever done on Dance Moms. Maddie and Kendall both executed it extremely well, and the music and choreography fit together perfectly.

I wish everyone stopped comparing Chloe and Maddie! It is upsetting and you're the people who have started all of this. You have to understand the beauty of this dance, it's truly beautiful. Chloe and Maddie are both brilliant dancers and they would rather not be compared to each other! Chloe left because of Abby and the fight between her Mom but, I bet some of the other reasons was because Chloe and Maddie got compared! They always worked against each other instead of together. It's so sad...
I think all the girls are very talented. But maddie has always had a special little sparkle in dancing. I love every single one of her solos and many of those solos only she could pull off.

I don’t care what anyone says, I’ve seen all of maddies solos from “the hostage” “cry” “birthday” but this one is by farrrr her best ever solo, tricks we’re all done perfectly, shows loads of emotion and acting, straight legs and pointed toes, probably the prettiest costume she’s had,
This dance is amazing, please there's no comparation Maddie it's just flawless the way she dance... She gets a lot of hate but every one must get over it, it's capable how advantage and beautiful her dancing is.
I think it's funny that Maddie did a solo to fool me one and yet later on Chloe ended up doing a music video to it and she did it with different choreography but she was so graceful and it just fit Chloe a lot more :3
Maddie is an incredible dancer, but if at the age of 11/12 her dancers are flawless, it's not because Maddie is a perfect dancer but because her dances aren't challenging her enough, she is not a perfect dancer yet that could go and make it now competing against 20 year olds, therefore she should still have things to improve in her dancing you're never perfect there's always something that can be improved.

I think you mean that the numbers that Abby and the ALDC choreograph for her aren't challenging enough because Maddie has competed other numbers from other studios that she looks gorgeous in

***** you clearly didn't read my whole comment because at the end I said, just because its a simple elgant dance it doesn't mean in doesn't need to have any difficulty you can push her a little and anyway it wasn't actually perfection its just abby contaantly trying to big her up. Maddie is an excellent dancer and I could watch her dance for hours, but it doesn't make her dances perfect all the time because that isn't the first or last time abby hs called her flawless.

Yea, Maddie may put alot into of acting and face into it but Chloe actually puts heart into the song. I don't think she thinks about doing perfect, I think she thinks about having fun and being the best she can be.

Listen to the song, it's supposed to be sad and about heartbreak. She's acting. But the problem is she may be putting to much acting and face expressions into it.
Technically not perfect but emotionally amazing! Makes you forget the littles mistakes. Definetly an amazing performer she was.
