- A busy week on all fronts meant it's been a week of balancing store time and real world demands, and with the store relocation on the agenda that's been the focus this week - or at least it should have been aside from orders and running the LEGO Bricklink and Brick Owl stores.

Great video again, Can't wait to see who wins the book. I love the request from Beau :)
Be sure to comment on the vid to be in for Cody at the very least ;)
Keep up the good work mate. It’s interesting to see a fellow Bricklink seller with such a large amount of pieces and how they go around dealing with that!
Thanks for watching and the positive words, really appreciated.
$75 already? Called it! 😂 Not to toot my own horn *cough* 😉 but I did say the Darth Malak minifig will be big in terms of value. Granted, I did say it would be a sleeper, but by 'eck, it has *vastly* exceeded my expectations!
Tips hat!! 🎩
@YellowBrickRoadLego 😄 thank you! I had a hunch given his popularity in a SW game I used to play, but a $75 value has genuinely surprised me. It will be interesting to see how it pans out in terms of value over time.
@@captainnutnut6077 guess it will depend on how long he lasts on shelves.
Yesss! Let's go! Hahaha chewy made the vlog😂
😉
Thanks for recording packing orders❤ W! BTW how much time is taking you for orders that are 1k parts or more 😂 like the one in the 16 minute of the vid
It really depends on the number of lots or the number of parts per lot to count. That large order probably took an hour and a half to pick I would say?
@@YellowBrickRoadLego This types of videos are just amazing. I would love to see more! Also your store is amazing but you're soooo far away from me!
Hello again, love your vlogs. I have a question about your store, how do you sell a lot of parts? I have a little store and the only thing that is running fast are minifigs parts are slow for me. Thx for answering if you like to do that.
I think there are a few things here, maybe that I have a strong Star Wars bias to the stock, perhaps that I try and focus on parts I know sell through and build volume of those and then maybe that I look at parts not available in Australia easily and hunt those down overseas to attract customers.
Thank you
- -I have a store in NSW and trying to get parts under the 2cm sometimes takes forever \(゚ー゚\) My local Post Office is pretty strict about not going over the size limit... Interesting to see I'm not the only one that struggles with this:)
I find using the card mailers helps as opposed to Padded mailers - no room for squeezing a bit extra in, but if you adjust the Bricklink sizing limits you can make it easier on yourself.
@@YellowBrickRoadLego .. Thanks for the advice:) I do use padded mailers and I have been adjusting to size and weight limit down every time I can't fit everything. Even so, I still get about half my orders in letters and half in parcel sizes. If you are curious my Store is Goldibricks Zone, I'm about 70k in parts smaller that your store:)
@@Guy.Fleegman I think I've ordered from your store in the past come to think of it!! Nice work :)
@@YellowBrickRoadLego - - Oh thanks:)
I buy parts from other stores sometimes too. I actually didn't intend on selling so many parts but I kept getting damaged boxes in the post. And I didn't want to sell sets after retirement with damaged boxes. Now I work 12hrs a day 7 days mostly sorting parts ㄟ( ▔, ▔ )ㄏ
On your sales in oz..where is act ???
Australian Capital Territory - so pretty much Canberra.
@@YellowBrickRoadLego know i know
How do you find the legs on those shelves? Not too big of a dent into the carpet? I am thinking of some shelving when we move and since I use the same organisers they look like a good fit
The white shelf with the Spotlight Cabinets on them I had to remove a shelf and redrill the holes to make them fit properly and fitted wheels on them so I could move them - but they don't seem to make much of a lasting dent in the flooring? No more than any other furniture anyway. Are those the ones you mean?
@@YellowBrickRoadLego Oh I mean the new Pinnacle ones from Bunnings? We have a couple at work but they are on Lino floor so it's hard to tell. Trying to think if it is worth it for the new space - likely to be from the looks of it
@@kiwibrickexchange They have plastic stopper foot plate things (technical name I think) so no different from a desk or bookself in terms of making an impression - but game changing having the option to have 9 units all together - so far making picking so much faster
@@YellowBrickRoadLego Brilliant - I will measure up when I get a chance and see what is going to get most out of the space. No more carrying organisers in our new place too! Lots of time saved is what we want :D
