I was there at age 17 armed with a machne gun Ouzi, and wearing colt 38.
The Crown Prince went into the plane with Princess Tenagne and the remaining Royal family.
The first man who came out of the plane was Ras Mesfin Selehi with a machine gun in his hand . He could have been mistaken by a possible sniper as the Emperor, since coming down the stair from the plane you could only see the military uniform with similar ribbons and the General red ribbon cap. I was there at the airport with my uncle dej Bezabhi, and 10 armed of my father's guard. Even got a chance to greet the Emperor and Etege Mennen. We then drove to Jublee palce.
