It’s almost like she is intimidating her daughter to not remember. If you don’t remember anything that’s ok too? Sounds more like wishful thinking. Sick broad knew she was caught when she left her alive and yet still continued to say mostly all the right things. If she was truly innocent then she would’ve been pushing to find the man who did this to her and her kids everyday she was behind bars and the times she was up for parole. The fact she refuses to come clean about what she did is the reason why she will continue to rot behind bars.
As she should, unless there truly was a another person who killed her children.

Liar, liar now almost 40 years later this sad excuse for a mother is still locked up, listened to part of her 2020 parole hearing she hasn't changed. Loves the sound of her own voice, never knows when to shut up

Me too! It’s fascinatingly scary how a mother of 3 could harm her own. Hell, any mother no matter how many kids! They trusted her. She was supposed to protect them but she doesn’t care.
Most mothers in this situation would say something like, "I love her so much and I'm so worried about her. I'm worried this time apart from her will harm our relationship and I'm devastated I cannot see my daughter. I love her so much." - But not Diane. Instead, she says almost as an afterthought: 0:32 "...But I love her." And then chuckles and shrugs. - Downs is the very definition of a sociopath entirely unable to feel love.
She just seems amused by the whole thing all the time. Like she's just enjoying the attention. So crazy

If this would have REALLY been a "shaggy haired" man...she would have WANTED to make that tape.. and have Christie tell what happened. You can see that she doesn't want to do it.. and doesn't want Christie to remember and tell. She's giving all these reasons why she really shouldn't. She know she's totally screwed if Christie comes out with the Truth.

There is testimony that she used the restroom before the police arrived (it will be posted sometime soon). The nurse heard running water. That towel she had wrapped around her arm also could have helped had she used it to cover her hands when pulling the trigger. Also, let's not forget, Diane shot herself in the arm. All of this says there wasn't a sufficient sample and something she thought of beforehand having a history with firearms.

In my right headphone I’m hearing stuff that they forgot to cut out…Diane down says something about I’ll tell ya if you don’t put it on tv and the reporter goes oh I won’t and then it cuts and cuts back in and Diane says something about a star or a scar. Anyone know what she’s referring to here?
Probably referencing the scar on her arm where she had surgery, when she shot herself.
She seemed to be really concerned about having a scar.
