For those confused as to what happened here, you can see at 0:15 the one Slammin Lid move directly above the other Slammin Lid. Ducking underneath caused both of them to slam down. The player killed the first Slammin Lid and is supposed to just fall straight onto the ground, but instead dropped onto the other Slammin Lid there that was in the process of raising back up. The collisions between the Slammin Lid that was just killed and falling off to the side, the Slammin Lid still alive and rising up, and the player being pushed around by both, caused wonky physics/collision calculations and the end result... the player was sent waaaaaaaay off into the ocean lol.
The one time I had a Slammin' Lid stack the one below was actually blocking the shield from the one above it, and it couldn't generate a shield for not reaching it's destined height so they were both just kind of chilling up there. (sucks I couldn't get to experience this though...)
Standing on slamming lids is for chads only anyway, shit never goes right. I find it more jarring when a drizzler spawns into me, takes me up and yeets me i to the water.

the slammin lids have the best glitches i swear… i was on top of one and it slammed down on a steelhead or something and yeeted me way up in the air kinda like how sitting on top of the egg basket before it pops up does but WAAAY higher… extremely epic gamer moment for me
Instead of glitching me and my sister share the same brain cell, and we jumped in water at the same time not realizing water was below us and we couldn’t make the jump.
2 slammin lids spawned on top of each other and as one died, the other rubberbanded into place so it wouldn't go down with the second model and thus YEETED you into the poisonous ocean. That's the worst way to go out RIP king

This exact same scenario happened to me! It was so bizarre when it did happen. Hopefully this is fixed, although the double slammin lid scenario doesn’t pop up frequently.

Same thing happened to me exactly. It’s just the Slammin Lids. Something is just off with them. They are handy though because they can kill anything even bosses when they slam.

I also experienced this when a slammin collided with a flyfish when I was on top. It flung me across the stage and right into the ocean.
At least you respawn on land and not floating on the water. That would be quite the trip.
