Mobile ink recovery is the single most broken thing in this dlc, works with almost all weapons and if you get something crazy like 2000% fire rates turns ya into a infinite gatling gun
Comments like these make me think that some color chips were meant to be abilities for the main game but were saved for dlc 'cause of how op they were

My favorite is pairing that with maxing chain length. On F30, you can activate an ultrastamp and basically keep it going indefinitely with special refill drops.
If you have the damage hack maxed, it only takes a few splash damage and splash radius chips to get portals to pop other portals on a lot of maps.
Edit: Also, every time you kill an enemy, it explodes in a small explosion of your ink. The splash range and damage (and knockback) chips affect this explosion as well, afaik.
So even if you have no weapons that cause explosions, the chips can still be worth getting. They help to deal with large groups.
Just wait til you get that on the Blaster. My first Blaster run ever i got Max Splash Radius, Max Fire Rate and Max Splash damage. Imagine a Grizzco Blaster with the range of a Luna Blaster that Shoots Reefsliders. At first I was really confused why enemies far away from me were dying and how after only popping 1 portal in a multi portal map I had already won. Then I realized just how much stuff in this game counts as splash damage. Most Subs, Splash Down, Exploding Enemies, Lucky Bombs, Popping portals and of course the Blaster Main. I'm pretty sure that "Spash" bonus chips affect more things than any other chip type.
Even the Octo Shot Replica was OP. Wasn’t 1000% but 321 or whatever it was just literally was insane.

One of the Side Order devs must have really liked Blaster. The maxed-out fire rate is ridiculous, its indirects work with splash chips, and it’s got power and range bias so it’s super easy to get the stuff you want.

You all really need to try a full "Rush Attack" chip run with Ultra Stamp special. Though isn't in the description, Rush Attack does increase the Ultra Stamp dmg, all I remembered from my run is that Smollusk 3rd's phase died instantly after 4-5 swings.
hilariously enough, rush attack also apparently affects splash wall, cause that makes sense.
I became a push mower of destruction when I maxed out Rush Attack with the Sheldon Palette.

I had a recent blaster run where I got max splash radius and splash damage, three points main fire rate up, 2 points main ink saver, 2 points lucky bomb, and max splat ink refill.

I'm trying to empty the store...once you do that, once a day you can buy something from it for 100 PRLZ and One of those things is a 10% chance a day of 5 random ability chunks, a payout of 30,000 coins, or a food ticket. The other like...30% iirc is either a random locker item or random locker sticker. I want those chunks cause it'll be a faster way to get them since I don't play salmon run super hard which is where the best chance for chunks are.
First time I did the random drop, I got 32,000 coins.

4:15 legit the hardest part of 100%ing side order wasn't eight's palette, it wasn't clearing with every weapon, it was getting fucking BRELLA COOLDOWN chips
The weapon specific chips are hell to max especially since some aren't in your palette's common color
Rush Ink Coverage was the most troublesome for me; I ended up getting it while using the brella LOL
Okay, yeah what the heck is up with that. Why is everyone struggling with the brella cool down chip 100%? I got everything else but brella?!
My conspiracy theory is Nintendo knows how much people dislike brella and purposefully made this chip hard to force people to keep playing brella. 🥲

What makes Splash Damage so stupidly powerful is that there are a LOT of things that count as “splash damage”: Blaster shots and Splat Bombs plus related subs are obvious, but it also includes Lucky Bombs, Pearl’s bombs, portal explosions, and supers such as Triple Splashdown, Inkstrikes, and Reefslider.
Since these are also buffed by Explosion Knockback and Splash Radius, you can legitimately get a build that sends enemies literally flying out of the arena.😂

If there were a mode, after complete the dlc 100% where you can stack infinitive chips, like in the first boss fight, but you can‘t get pearls(Less pearls). That would be cool but then every level is harder than hard😂

never mind, they're on the splatoon wiki but you have to look up the specific categories of color-chips. 🤦
Thinking about it more, customizing kits is one thing. Customizing everything is a whole other thing
Nintendo could do a lot with the idea of Order Sector being a simulation and whatnot.
I still wish we got a continuation of what happened to mr. griz in the future as an update to this dlc
If you didn't, I recommend you using the order charger, with max speed rate, max speed charge and max ink concumption reduced, it obliterates everything
i did have a legitimate run once where i had enough mobile ink recovery and main saver to run with the splat roller indefinetely it was pretty overpowered
7:50 everybody says this dlc was underwhelming but seeing that acht (aka dedf1sh) was a main character was enough for me to give it an eleven out of ten (and my 500 hours of isaac may have helped as well)

Nintendo were funny with this DLC. Wtf did they spend a year making this on? Feels like they made it in a month, and then said it's more expensive than OE
OE was literally 70% reused assets with a new coat of paint added on top. The only reason it's so critically acclaimed is because it introduced level gimmicks that don't suck (except the final boss lol)
