  • Changing out wear parts on the 38 meter boom pump. These are the parts that are made to wear out and be replaced. This is part of the yearly maintenance that has to be done to a concrete pump.

    I love that you do a lot of your own maintenance. I need do this to my boom pump. I’m a 1 man show.

    Used to do this. I made a few Schwing conversations on Elba’s. We called them Schwelba conversations. Made a jig to hold S tubes so they can be hard faced. Cool to see this video, it’s been a while.

    I probably would of put those output seals back in and kept the new ones for when you need em but cutting rings never hurt to change.. s tubes beat rock valves all day long

      I was just happy I didn't have to replace that chrome ring. I use to dread taking the back end off but not so much now. I still think its easier to replace the parts on a rock valve than a Stube.

    Weld a guard over the rear driver oil sending unit....its common to back out and over a hard mound of mud , Found ours broken because of that.

      @@MuddyfeetConcretePumping Sorry, my 37 Liebherr came into the shop, driver says dash light warning came on about the rear driver axel temperature, turns out after a big pump job he had ro back up over a mound of concrete that was high and hard enough to break the temperature sender on the differential. 2016 Pete.

    • @newrealm9187
      @newrealm9187 Před 3 lety

      Because you might not be leaking grout into your waterbox I believe when your cups start getting tired they let alittle air. Just a theory

    • @MuddyfeetConcretePumping
      @MuddyfeetConcretePumping  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes I plan on doing those this next week. But the their is no grout in the water box. But it’s time.

      @@MuddyfeetConcretePumping Do you ever watch them work? Do they let excessive air by when stroking maybe they’re getting hard and just enough room for air and not grout.. just a theory, not an expert, im still just a glorified button pusher😂
