Louis Ferrante reflected on his relationship with the Gambino crime family and his interactions with notorious mafia boss John Gotti. Louis remembers being a young man growing up in New York while Gotti was taking over the family and admits he began associating with members of the family at a young age, even spending a significant amount of time at the home of Peter Gotti, John's older brother. Louis emphasized that while he made connections within the mafia, he also maintained his own crew from his neighborhood in Flushing, Queens. He also recalled a warning to stay away from Sammy "The Bull" Gravano, who later became infamous for testifying against Gotti. Louis was close to Peter Gotti but had little interaction with John, who was the boss of the family and remained somewhat distant from the rank and file.

What he says about Sammy makes complete sense. I mean it's a known fact he clipped his own brother in law and his business partners, you only do that for one reason: treacherous greed. I like to listen to Sammy, he's got good stories, but he's got scales for skin that's for sure.

I think people forget easily that Sammy also has no say on whether or not to say no to a hit...if you refuse a hit, you could be hit yourself. Id rather hit than be hit.

Killing your wife's brother is pretty bad, while assuring every night you are going to find those responsible. This is NOT common at all. How do these people call everyone a “rat” except John Gotti ? He literally was the FACE of the mob when the mobs number one rule was to NOT HAVE A FACE.
