The Pono MT solid Mahogany tenor ukulele is a powerful sounding wood that makes the high note shine and the low notes bounce. It is a top choice for many professional musicians for its clarity and tone. If you notice that the Pono Mahogany is unique in its color and subtle grain pattern, absolutely stunning.
The Pono MGT Tenor Solid Mango is an incredible uke becuse the wood sounds as amazing as it looks. Of all the woods, Mango is the warmest and most tonally balanced.
The Pono AT Solid Acacia Tenor is WOW!!! Really well made with all solid Acacia wood, craftsmanship, and quality parts (ebony fretboard, truss rod, and Grover tuners). Acacia is a beautiful looking and sounding wood. As a cousin to Hawaiian Koa it has a bold and woodsy sound with a little more bite and clarity.

The MT sounds best to me although they are quite similar. Tenors in my mind should be a bit woody and I only hear that in the MT.
I'm liking the AT. It's sound seems more full-bodied. It really rang out while finger style was played.
