  • All-Ireland winners James Skehill and Paul Murphy joined Will O'Callaghan on a live edition of the pod to take your questions after this weekend's All-Ireland semi-finals.
Limerick's bid for five-in-row All-Ireland titles was brought to a halt by a brilliant Cork performance which saw the Rebels set up a repeat of the 2013 decider against Clare.
Clare put their losses to Kilkenny in the last two years behind them to score the last six points unanswered to overcome the Leinster kingpins.

Lads, the Limerick fans were incredible yesterday.
Everyone all over the stadium were so kind to the cork fans, gracious in defeat and shook and congratulated all the cork fans around them. Both sets of fans created an incredible atmosphere.
    Well done to both fans.

Very gracious words, thank you. Myself and the lads were in upper Davin, unfortunately we had to break up a disgraceful scuffle but aside from that, as gutted as we all were and are, Cork fully deserved that win, my god, Patrick Collins’ saves were outrageous and then the speed!! Running at our half back line like wild men, ye play such a savage brand of hurling. I was chattin to a lot of Cork people in the stadium and afterwards at the “refreshments” and ye were so gracious, fair play to ye all. I hope ye go all the way, especially for Hoggie! 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

fantastic podcase guys. The ref done his best, and thats saying something for a hurling official given the speed of the game, so brilliant in that aspect. But they absolutely need support, whether its from a voice in the ear on playback from a video official, as you can't justify the cancellation of the goal given the skill involved to get a fantastic hand pass off. That could have cost cork big time. So lets hold the officials to a high bar, and get them equally supported to make those calls effectively.

It was so boring with Kilkenny, Tipp and Cork winning,
Massive advantage in terms of clubs and player numbers, i mean Cork literally have 5 times more hurling clubs than Limerick, Tipp is close to double.

O'Donoghue had his arm under Gillane's arm locked onto his shoulder pulling him down in last few mins. Photoshop Shane O'Donnell's, Pat Horgan's or anyone else's face onto Gillane and it's a penalty all day. Harnedy ran into Darragh ODonovan, all O'Donovan did was brace himself for impact (O'Donovan was static), and a point scoring free for Cork when things had dried-up (7 mins without a score). None of the above are Cork's problem. They played great hurling in both games and went about beating Limerick by playing great hurling. Fair dues to them & good luck to them in the final.
