Make you some lemon and lime garlic butter with dill in it. Keep the shark basted in it while grilling or pan searing you. I can get it ordered at our local super market.
Watched this video a week after you posted it. Been busy. Great video.. never seen a shark caught on a popper. That was pretty frigging cool. Word of advice, reaching in to dehook a shark that can still move around is bad news. Even with those long handled hook remover. I reached down with pliers to dehook a 4 ft dogfish once. He twisted and bit down on my rt pinky, ring and middle fingers. They still work correctly. But was over a hundred stitches, tendon damage.

That looks like a lot of fun. Sooner or later you'll bag a cobia that way if they come to your beaches. I've hooked them in the surf down in Sarasota a couple times and I've seen more. You might mistake them for sharks, they look similar in the water at a distance. You can put a 2' leader on the back hook of your popper with a little jig and catch extra fish. Just an idea. Cool video, jacks never fail to put up a fight. I never caught a shark on a lure, that's going to have to be a goal.

A decent size Jack will hit anything but i have caught them more on bigger poppers, along with stickbaits and twitchbaits. They love lures with a fat profile. I have caught on spoon but bigger poppers, stickbait and twitchbaits catch a whole lot more. Lures around the 5 inch length is the sweet spot for me.
I want to see the clickbaiterz vs each other on the beach with 1 setup and lures of choice…. Most fish… Biggest fish ( by length) or weight too… and most species … Winner takes all bragging rights
