My parents told once told me, when I was about 7 yrs old that I was outfishing everyone on a rock jetty with a little Zebco 202 rod and reel, catching good size Snapper thru a small pocket in the rocks that I found by accident ! Even got pictures !

Nice double hookup. I've personally never landed two fish on a plug, but have been attacked by schools of fish on top water. I'll never forget the day I was plugging off my local jetty casting into droves of Bluefish. Everytime my plug hit the water the fish were on it, attacking my lure all at once. So badass when the water is crystal clear and you can see the fish scramming towards your bait from the depths below. On one cast I had like a dozen blues coming up to slam my spook, when out of nowhere, a nice red comes barreling through the school of fish and just smashes my lure SO EPIC!!!
Nice video. Not having a boat I absolutely have to rely on surf/jetty/pier fishing. It’s so rewarding when u get those hits after 10/20/30 casts. I have learned to read the beach somewhat so it has gotten more enjoyable.
I love all your videos, but beach fishing and wade fishing videos are my favorite! Since I live in KY only get to FL twice a year, I don't have access to a boat. I only go beach and wade fishing while there, so it's hard to relate to most of your videos, but I still enjoy watching them.

You should start posting more recreational fishing videos, like casting from the beach and wading in the shallow flats and calmer backwaters. Throwing smaller lures with lighter and shorter rods is fun while wading in the calmer waters and open flats.

Do more fly fishing. Not a lot but sneak one in every month or so. Take a kayak and float down some famous clear spring rivers hunting LMB. Do more calabs with other fishing You Tubers like Monster Mike, Scott Martin, Googans, etc. We all love calabs. I'm in SC and I don't know a lot about FL or where you are located in FL but I have done some videos bass fishing canals just south of Lake Okeechobee and some salt canals west of Naples for snook just to get out of my comfort zone. I literally just went on Google Earth, found likely looking spots and then drove 12 hours to fish places I knew nothing about. Get crazy adventurous! Anyway, loved the video and good luck on spicing it up. Yeah, it's hard work! Love your channel, bro.

Throwing popers in the surf is never easy. I don't do lures in surf to often. I might try it next time I get out to Florida again. Love this challenge you did. Maybe down the road you can do a west cost trip. Mix it up a little.

Have you considered changing to barbless hooks for snook / jack? Being primarily catch and release, it looks after the fish and catch rates don’t fall all that much. Pretty standard in Australia for GTs.

Hey man try pier fishing and some shore fishing I am shore bound and haven't been catch much because maybe red tide or I'm doing something wrong or just not using the right lures or jigs and what not just would like my confidence restored
Brother, I feel your pain. Some simple tips, use a leader, try the Carolina rig (works for everything) and bait is life! The better the bait, the better the chance at a catch. If you keep getting cleaned, move to a smaller hook. Simple cut frozen bait (small pieces) on a small hook WILL find the fish. When you catch a bait fish, put him on a bigger hook and throw him back out! Pin fish are easy to catch and make good bait. Pro tip, clip their fines with scissors to make them struggle and attract the big ones. I use 2 rods, one with big bait, and one to keep me busy till I get a bite on the big boy! Good luck amigo.

Usually there are fish to be caught right on the lip of the beach. Cast parallel to the shore and work the really shallow water before you start launching for distance. Shallow first, then deeper.

I'm surprised you haven't done any pier fishing. Morning and night pier fishing are two different animals when it comes to fishing from a pier. Just my opinion. Keep up the great work!

I have only recently started watching your videos, but you kill it man! I love that you have a renewed passion for fishing after stepping out of your comfort zone during this 30day challenge.

I would say either go after some big uglies or maybe night fishing bridges for big snook throwing jigs and spoolteks
