Q: How did mason know how this was gonna happen.
A: 1:40 Woods set the gun down and was able to see the barrel holes seeing the bullet in the hole directly before the actual barrel. 1:44 Woods tells mason, "this time, do it" referring to the attack. 1:57 Mason says 6 and 8 o'clock referring to the positions of the people behind Woods. That way Woods knows where to knock a guy out.

When I was a kid I never understood why woods told him to do it there, and why Mason said “six and eight o’clock” but now I understand
Woods took the only real risk with that bullet. He heard the bullet enter the chamber so he told Mason to do it, and Mason told him where the hostiles were “six and eight o’clock” that’s some real badass shit
There isn’t a chamber for the bullet to enter. It’s a revolver. Furthermore, he can’t “hear it”. The revolver is double action. Pulling the trigger spins the chamber and pulls back and drops the hammer.

ikr
@dozy boy check the date on my original message, I commented that before the game was even out.
@dozy boy mw it's not nearly as dark as they advertised it to be, and that's the thing you see, they had to advertise that the game was dark and edgy, while these games did it casually I mean look at the no russian mission, that's probably the most realistic and graphic depiction of a terrorist attack in a videogame and they weren't showing it in the trailer, and it actually became a known thing a couple years ago, before that only the people who played it knew about the mission.
@Julian Hernandez guess they did what they could while still trying not to offend anyone basically...

Not even necessarily based on it. Captured US soldiers actually had to play roulette when they got captured
@@zacharyreed7215 No they didn't lol. This scene is obviously influenced from Deer Hunter which is a famous movie and the scene is famous af. Theres no documented events of this ever happening to captured us soldiers.
@@rafeguitarr how do you know they could've been captured still
Yup
@@zacharyreed7215 that’s not true at all, it’s revisionist history. There were rumours of it but there has never been proof of POWs having to play Russian roulette during the Vietnam war. The Vietnamese lacked actual holding facilities for pows with such little political value so after a short stay in the tiger cages, beatings and water boarding you would most likely just be shot if you didn’t succumb to some jungle disease/infection. Japanese soldiers however cannibalizing 4 US soldiers at the end of the second world war is factual (They were told to by superiors as they were living of 50g of protein a day and faced starvation on the remote of pacific islands and 5 of the 23 superior officers were executed for war crimes).

This game had the best AK-47 Iron sights in gaming history.
This game had the best COD in the history. Period.
Red Hook MMA In my opinion I like WAW’s story better from a more historically philosophical perspective but the amazing foreshadowing of Renzov being not real in later stages just makes the ending feel satisfying yet sad when Hudson dies. 😢
In WAW I found the Pacific Theater side quite artistic in the way it portrayed guerilla warfare. It showed the Japanese’s tactics with trapdoors, camouflaged snipers and bayonet charges, high ground, and more. It showed the contrast of their more ancient primitive fighting style with more modern weaponry. Reasons like these is why I heavily enjoyed the times when Bo1 went on the front lines and deep in Vietnam like when you were in the rat tunnels and the stealth which I thought were some of the cooler parts of the campaign. I honestly wish they did more with the guerrilla aspect of the Vietnamese’s behavior.
How about say Mason, Woods, and some more people squad up in the jungle searching for something and as they keep walking they get picked off one by one by various spike traps set up for them to walk in to. Then they suddenly get rushed by the Vietnamese and all chaos ensues. Situations like these are what made WAW legendary and I wish Bo1 did more of the same.
The Japanese’s tactics also taught you to be smart back, and to find small cracks to snipe to/from. In WAW you could snipe through just about any space, but in Bo1 there are spaces between barrels which appear to be shootable but aren’t. Grenade spam was bad in WAW but I find that hiding behind barricades were more reliable than in Bo1. Half the time when I go to hide behind a desk and a grenade drops on the opposite side, I die anyway and it’s so annoying.
Bo1’s campaign in all honesty got more creative at mission concepts than WAW. A lot of them are escape themed, but are done in totally different ways. Vorkuta was awesome with the jail break and motorcycle chase in the end. Hue City like hell on earth and being rescued on the boat was satisfying especially in Veteran. The satellite video scouting was a cool section in WMD though short indeed. Having to walk through the nova gas in Rebirth Island was pretty awesome too. WAW has the Black Cats mission and Blood and Iron with the tanks, but Bo1 was definitely the most diverse with its mission progression.
The Russian side was deep cause it tested your morality. It showed a realistic dark, yet oddly understandable thirst for vengeance of the Russians. It showed that sometimes you can let your anger precede your thoughts and let yourself act and do things you wouldn’t do otherwise. It’s just the deep things in that game that really make you think.
Even throughout the game as a whole there will be times when you see a soldier crawling or crying in agony and you have the option of killing them, or letting them die slowly. There’s also other times where you can choose to shoot unarmed germans or let Renzov kill them himself.
Moments like those make you think, feel, wonder what is good or evil. Bo1’s Renzov quote “the flags may be different but the methods are the same”, show that Bo1 is entirely capable of birthing the same thought processes, which shows it is a true worthy sequel to follow in WAW’s legacy, while making a name for itself is its own series as the first and greatest to many.
Both campaigns also had their fair share of heartfelt gut wrenching death scenes, like Dimitri’s and Hudson’s death in Bo1 and Polinski and Chernov’s in WAW (Chernov might be alive but who knows).
The music also helped set the mood though WAW’s was better imo. Though Bo1’s Mask Walk, Rooftops and the song at the end of S.O.G (forgot its name) were amazing, I prefer WAW with the ost for Heart of the Riech, Breaking Point, and Eviction. Also how could you ever forget the majestic Cod WAW Russian theme? 😎 🇷🇺 🔨 🪓🔥🍾
But what really makes the game really is the gameplay which is great in both games (though WAW Veteran is absolute hell with the grenades despite the satisfaction of completing it).
Bo1 multiplayer was polished and great with its progression system but WAW had bigger yet diverse maps. I like the feel of the guns in WAW, especially machine guns like the stg-44, Thompson, and the “all mighty” PPSH-41 with its drum mag. 🤤
Bo1 has a more complete version of Nazi Zombies but WAW was the first Zombies game so I’ll cut it some slack. For what WAW did have it innovated tremendously with each installment. Nacht: mystery box, wallbuys, bare basics; Verrückt: Traps, perks,Multiple box locations, Music Easter eggs; Shi No Numa: Dogs, 4 OG Characters, Multiple perk locations, Multiple Wonder Weapons, Transportation, biological “warfare”; Der Riese: Pack a Punch, Special Grenades, Main Easter Eggs, Teleporters.
Bo1 just moved the zombies story to various unique settings, which aren’t really unique to Bo1 when you realize Kino, Paris (Moon) and a certain Siberian map (COTD) were originally going to be in WAW in the canceled Dlc Pack 4. However the new perks and introduction of Easter egg quests with achievements added a new sense of progression with a satisfying end goal once complete, which I’m glad Bo1 capitalized on.
But hey that’s just my opinion, but you guys can have your own thoughts in the comments below.
I still used it with red dot for longer range

The Deer Hunter is a bad movie. Other than the Russian roulette scenes its mostly boring home life and weddings. You want a Vietnam movie? Grow a pair and watch Apocalypse Now. Don't @ me scrubs.
@@julymagnus493 I agree that the first half of the movie was a little long, but if you went in looking for explosions and shootouts, you were watching the wrong movie to begin with. The movie is more about the hardships of war, and what people went through physically and mentally. The scenes after Vietnam are just as important the scenes in Vietnam.
@@shanetheal8357 ya know, looking back on it idk what I expected. I dont have a problem with long or slow movies but I guess I did have expectations that went unfilled.
