I am Ukrainian. My country has been invaded by Russia. In this video, I will tell you what happened on the seven-hundred-fifty-fourth day of the war.
Day 754: Mar 18
Today, there are a lot of different updates from the Kupiansk direction.
Here, intense clashes suddenly broke out south of the forest. As it turned out, Russian forces finished regrouping and decided to initiate a renewed wave of attacks on Synkivka. The village of Synkivka is the key to unlocking the operational space and allowing for the Russian advancement north of Kupiansk, so the precipitation of the pace of the offensive operation here is not surprising. What is surprising is that Russians launched this wave of attacks without adequately setting the stage for a successful campaign.
As you remember, Russian forces have already tried to take Synkivka through straightforward frontal assaults. Even though they did enjoy some levels of success at the beginning of the undertaking, Ukrainian counterattacks not only reclaimed any lost footing in the village but also drove Russian forces back into the cover of the forest. That was the main reason why Russians tried to rethink their approach, which even seemed to result in significant tactical adjustments. As noted by many military analysts, these adjustments happened in the forest. Russians tried to expand their control over at least a portion of the forest in front of the settlement in order to eliminate the possibility of Ukrainian flank maneuvers and broaden the range of assault angles that they could create. That is why, up until now, intense clashes have taken place in the forest.
Despite some Russian claims of incremental gains within the forest, these were not broadly corroborated. Logically, if Russians indeed advanced deeper into the forest, then they would open new vectors of attack. However, evidence from geolocated footage indicated that recent Russian offensives targeted the same areas as before. This serves as a direct confirmation of the fact that Ukrainians in the forest managed to withstand Russian assaults by utilizing the forest's natural barriers against mechanized assaults and traps and mines against infantry assaults. The successful Ukrainian defensive operation in the forest left Russians with no choice but to resort to costly assaults across mine-laden territories toward Ukrainian defensive positions.
According to Kharkiv Military Administration Head Oleh Synehubov, Russian forces conducted a series of mechanized advances using MT-LB armored fighting vehicles instead of tanks. Some Russian sources reported that after two days of non-stop fighting, Russian forces managed to establish control over several Ukrainian trenches in front of the village. Geolocated images show several assaults that confirm these marginal advances in the northeastern part of the stronghold.
Moreover, recent reports from Russian outlets suggest a surge in partisan activities aimed at disrupting Ukrainian logistics through sabotage in at least five villages northwest and southwest of Kupiansk. These actions seem to be an attempt to amplify the effects of the fresh military assaults and to derange the Ukrainian logistics.
As a result of all these recent Russian efforts, different sources from both sides finally confirmed that Russian forces regained control of a trench area between Synkivka and the forest. Geolocated night vision images released by the Ukrainian Thirtieth Mechanized Brigade show artillery targeting these newly secured Russian positions. These trench positions appear to be in a small isolated tree grove northwest of Synkivka, about six hundred meters from the edge of the forest.
Another striking video shows how incredibly close the Russian and Ukrainian positions are. The footage shows the shocking moment when two Russian soldiers leave their positions in a suicidal attempt to storm the Ukrainian positions located just meters away. Unfortunately for the Russians, a Ukrainian reconnaissance drone just happens to be recording the attempt. The drone operator tracks the Russian soldiers in their race and has time to warn the Ukrainian side, which manages to finish off the attackers in their approach. The images prove the utmost importance of being alert at all times, particularly with such close enemy positions, and the vital importance of drones in this war, not only in offensive actions but also in defensive roles.

Ukraine should be provided with an enough fighter aircraft to form airforce, such as F-16s and longer-range precision munitions, including ATACMS ({more of them, and the longest-range versions should be sent to them), and the russian military facilities inside of russian territory should be considered legitimate targets.. It is worth noting that support for military aid to Ukraine in America is over 80% and increasing. This is because Americans understand that not only is aiding Ukraine the morally right thing to do, it is the practical thing to do also. America has spent something like approximately 6% of our military budget so far to aid Ukraine. However, more than half of the russian army has been destroyed. This is a tremendous bargain by any measure!! In addition, when russia is defeated in this war, their barbaric ideology of imperialism will also be defeated, making Europe a much more peaceful and stable place for decades - as well as preventing a new arms race in the region. That is why billions of dollars spent today to aid Ukraine saves trillions of dollars tomorrow. The vast majority of Americans understand this fact. Americans also want Ukrainian military and civilian casualties minimized. This is why Americans are correct to support providing military aid to Ukraine.
Please write to your elected representatives to request this military aid. If you are an American citizen, please consider writing to President Biden and your other elected representatives, and demand Ukraine be given the above weapons - in war-winning quantities, and promptly. The sooner America provides Ukraine the weapons it requires to liberate all of its territory, the sooner this war will be done, and with fewer Ukrainian casualties. Letters can be submitted electronically via the Whitehouse website. One can also conduct a google search for ones' elected representatives -=- many of which have similar websites. One may simply write and submit a letter electronically to make one''s desire known.

@@maksimivanov8272Russia is fighting Ukraine with very limited help from NATO. If Russia was actually fighting NATO it would not last long. NATO airpower alone would wipe out the VVS in days. Risk of conflict turning nuclear at that point once Russia runs out of options is the scary part.

Another great analysis and now your strategic update yesterday makes a lot more sense. I still wish you could lengthen your dialogue long enuff for yoo toob to monetize your work so you can have a better level of support from them. That's probably mostly true only near the fronts. Ukraine covers an area of 603,628 square kilometres (233,062 sq mi) so it would take a while to level all of it.
The Russian losses are simply not sustainable in the long run.

When we see this battle in a dense forest I am reminded of a battle in the US Civil War. The Battle of the wildernes had 29,000 casualties in just 2 days. The terrain prevented resupply and the use of cannon in the open. Moving troops was difficult on a line. The forest fires finally drove both sides back to later engage further south on better open ground to use cavalry and other tactics better.The wounded where horrible and many shot themselves to prevent a death from the fires. An inconclusive battle in history.
It looks like Russia willingly lets their people to get cut down ,but is moving forward nevertheless, hopefully they will run out of steam at some point

run out. It’s gains vs losses in 10 years are not sustainable in men, armour, planes, ships. Hyperinflation is about to spam hard, oil industry is being crippled, infrastructure is malfunctioning and collapsing. It’s only downwards to decades of misery and recovery for Russia.
