Melissa Baliva Riki wouldn't hurt Loki and Loki is a lot tougher than you think. I have seen babied dropped almost 20 feet and not get hurt. They are designed for high life for sure.

Wi really wish we could hear the hooting from them instead of the music. Poor Riki, he just wants to play with his little brother. Kiki is so defensive of Loki. She is hindering him too much. When she had Riki she used to let him go a lot sooner to investigate his surroundings.
I know in another video someone asked same thing- Riki looks like he is starting to get cheek pads? He has 2 extra wrinkles going vertically down each cheek. I don't remember how old the male usally is when they get them? Or if it's more hormonal? Loki Was loving kissing on Riki. He did really good playing w/his little brother than he usally does. Loki does not like Riki biting on his hand or putting his hand in his mouth at all. Loki pulls his hand back and starts biting Riki. Love it.... Loki is sitting up really good now & standing while leaning into Kiki. Kiki wanted to rest & nap a bit but Loki was on full blast & Riki kept sneaking back around. This was a Wonderful video. These orangutans are lliving like prisoners without possibility to do what's natural for them to do all day, finding fruits in the high treetops and building nests. It's not natural for them to be at the ground at all. If the humans that built these prisons for them were so much more intelligent than the orangutans as they think they are they could have given them a much more natural and interesting and djungle-like environment to live their lives in.
