Bizarre combo as interviewees. Lindsay is sincerely sweet 24/7 and I think that Lzzy would prefer to beat up people like Lindsay. I think they're both great, but they come from very different worlds.

I'm sure. After I wrote this, I saw a personal interview with Lzzy. She is not as edgy in real life as her stage persona gives off.

I agree with you runeshark22. The more I learn about Lzzy, the more I am impressed. First of all, I think it is really cool how she can combine heavy metal edginess with more "girly" things like her love for heels. I also think that it is great how much credit she and Arjay (sp?) give to their parents. With so many performers being full of angst toward their parents, it is refreshing to know there are those who think highly of their parents (something Lzzy and Lindsay have in common). Another metal favorite of mine, Buckethead, has always been very open about his love for his parents, particularly his late mom. As bizarre as his behavior is, it is good to know that there is something very normal about him.
Andy Knaster slash, izzy stradlin, and even axl rose from guns n roses all also admit to having a lot of respect and being close to their parents. as did randy rhoads, ozzy osborne, and alice cooper. but what you said about combining the hard n heavy with her still girliness, Mz. Hyde seems to really embody that. i also saw in an interview with her, she was talkin gear. She wanted the brass hardware on the explorer because "even though its rock n roll, i'm still a girl and its gotta be classy." and then talked about how she likes her one wah pedal because its a lot easier to push with heels on. and damn, I love her so much!
