What else is there with a similar layout of rear lounge? Want one but smalller and cheaper.

It's a difficult one, as Carthago are the only ones who do this exact layout.
Have a look at the Rapido on my A Class video section. That has a similar layout and is a lot cheaper. I hope this helps
Love your videos but please could you state upfront the price and if these vehicles can be driven on a standard licence or if you need to get a truck licence? Obviously for most people like me if I need to get a new licence then I won't get my hopes up about ever buying one of these. Thank you.

This vehicle would be around £200'000 and you would need to a Class 1 licence (C1 allowing you tou drive up to a 7.5 tonne)

Not yet unfortunately, I've been looking online and CZcams for a few years now doing my homework.
Coming from camping and caravans, I've been taking the decision slowly. Possibly next year I'll start to look for a UK model motorhome.

Build quality is decent but I don't understand why every Carthago vehicle looks like my grandmother's livingroom based on the material and color choices. I think Niesmann set the new modern standard with the new Flair to be honest. I would really love to see that modern look in more of the luxury brands. We've been looking at a Flair but I would prefer something like a Cruiser 950 from Concorde but I'm having a hard time getting over the fact how 'old' the interiors look.
We seriously considered this, it is an amazing machine. However it’s German. This means you’ll need to budget a further 40k as we had to, on our Carthago to get the full spec you would need, inc self levelling, wi-fi, awning, etc

If you have the budget for one of these though, you definitely will not be disappointed.

They are all front wheel drive. The reason for this is so you can have all the underfloor storage 👍
A very nice M H as it should be for the price, but to me the lounge is to big and the kitchen to small and a stupid place to put a cooker.
They do a different option for the cooker. You can have a larger one under the gas burners.

European RVs and their styling are superior to American RVs. American RV manufacturers do not have to be as concerned with size as our roads and spaces are larger, so they tend to be less creative in space utilization.
Carthago are very good at using every inch.
