I agree totally with the teacher not showing everything. In some ways I think that actually stunts the students growth.
martial arts I found over my 13 years of teaching martial arts, asking questions to my students and encouraging them to think is the most effective teaching in their skill development 👍🏻
And it also leads them down their own path of self development. One problem I've seen in mcdojos and fake martial arts is the teacher thinks all the students should be just like them. We do try to be as skilled as them. However not all a teachers tactics or philosophy will transfer to everyone or even anyone.
