Sony ZV-E10 Built in Mic vs Sony EMC-MS907 extern vs Oktava MK012

Built in Mic is at the lowest mic input setting on the camera, and still very ‚compressed/distort‘. The Sony EMC-MS907 is a mid-side microphone, so you can choose between 90° and 120° recording angle. Do to it’s age, it is quite noisy if you record softer sounds, be aware of that. Still a massiv upgrade to the built in mic. The Oktavas are more as a reference, the difference is huge, mainly in the bass. The downside is the additional equipment that is needed and the loss of portability.
