My order from Herrschners with Halloween and Christmas yarn came this past week. I have already started a blanket with Frosty Holiday Sparkle yarn. I love their yarn!❤️❤️❤️

The Halloween colors are awesome! Last time I latch hooked something it was in high school. But some of those kits are too cute. Frankie could hang up on your wall behind you easily I would think.

I use to visit Hershners all the time whenever we visited my husband family in Stevens Point Wisconsin. The store was literally right behind my in laws house. 🤪

But now we don’t get to go as much as did at least a few times a year when we went to visit but now his parents had to sale their beautiful house there and go into a senior home we moved them here near us in Florida but died earlier this year. So there is just one other family relative we visit in Wisconsin my husband son but don’t get to get there as much as would like.
But the store I absolutely loved. I would always bring back home a suitcase full of my shopping trip there lol 😝
I actually caught a couple times when they had their huge warehouse clearance sales they have.. now that was usually almost a car load of yarn lol 😛🤭

Love herrschners...I spent three days there in June for the warehouse sale!!! I bought way to much yarn and fabric....now I have enough to last until next year!!!! Happy crocheting 😊😊😊

Went to Mary Maxim, once. Kind of set up the same way as Herrschners. Only, we didn’t get to stay very long, bc we took my MIL and she was spent, from the drive there…and we had to drive home, too. This time, I will have to go, in honor of her…but def making a trip to Herrschners. How fun.
That's another place I've never been but it sounds like a fun yarn store.

I’m dying to go. I spied they had their Halloween sparkle yarn which I’ve been wanting to buy. I saw the Witching Hour blanket when I got their catalog the other day and fell in love with it. When I went online to get that purple & green yarn, it was already on back order. ☹️

I grew up about 30 mins from that store and HATED it when my mom wanted to go there! 😅. Now that I would love it, I’m too far away. Go figure!

Would love to seecyou do a community project. Everyone crochet their own halloween granny square and send them to you and then you could Frankenstein them together to create one unique family blanket that incompasses all your followers. Haven't seen another youtuber do this yet

You need to go their hunting season sale. They open up the warehouse and there is so much. I used to live in Wisconsin and went there all of the time. Awesome place.

I make body scrubbers out of that scrubbie stuff with 2 plastic purse handles for handles. 30 stitches over 3.75mm knitting needles
Body scrubbies with the trick or treat yarn is so happening now 🎃
I also have a riff on a dish scrubbie that I use for exfoliating a couple times a week in the shower. The store bath poufs kinda fail on that front. I am debating a double strand with some kitchen cotton to make a bath poufs to throw in the laundry and be better at exfoliating.
@@Nightdominia I have no trouble throwing my scrub straps in the the wash machine with warm water. Use it every day cause I’m an ashy birch. Lol
@@Ace_AloneWolf 🤣 I get a bit of buildup too, especially on my legs in the summer. My body scrubbies get chucked in with the towels. I was just thinking of a bath pouf also because I like using stuff like the B&BW body washes when I find one that doesn't kick me into a fit of sneezing or make me feel green.

I spent summers at my grandmother's house each summer of my childhood. Every summer started with a trip to Herrschners, so many amazing adventures of learning textile projects. I need to road trip there sometime too. How long is the drive from the twin cities?

I WISH I HAD A HERRSCHNERS NEAR ME I LIVE IN NEW JERSEY I DO ORDER FROM THE WEB I LOVE THE TRICK OR TREAT ONE BUT THEN I LOVE THEM ALL BECAUSE THEY ARE HALLOWEEN I DECORATE MY HOUSE IN SEPTEMBER WITH HALLOWEEN STUFF
Scrubbie yarn is an instant Bad Texture™ for me so I couldn't imagine working with it even if those spider web scrubbies are super cute lol, I might try and find some cotton yarn in similar colors to make them as regular washcloths instead.
Also I did a quick Google because I thought the herrschner's storefront looked familiar, and turns out it does because my girlfriend lives in the same city as it and we've driven past it a few times, so I'm probably gonna suggest we check it out when i go visit her in a few weeks lol

I like goblin better than sorcerer, but honestly I love both of those colorways.

Yup! They came in a clear bag so you could see the cakes really well

Sadly, I've been put off by this place cuz they wanted to hire me but changed their mind as soon as they found out I'd need accommodations for my disability. I literally saw the moment when the switch flipped in the guy who interviewed me. It was heartbreaking.
I'm pretty sure I saw signs for Wausau when I was traveling. Did go to a few other places during this trip. I'm incredibly sorry to hear that happened.
