My first thought was that it would be nose heavy, but it seems not to be. It's a great idea. One thing I really like is that it can be easily put onto just about anything. Good way for a kid to learn flight characteristics of different airframes.
I just had to see this after your first line. I'll just leave it to the fly boys though. Thanks for sharing Fred.
Thank you so much!!!
You're welcome Fred.
I'm in Oklahoma. If you don't like the weather, just wait.
This looks like LOADS of fun, Fred! Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
Really, this would only be better if you could USB-charge both components.
Could you please revisit this after a few tries with friends? Oughtta be a fun watch :D
I'd be trying to adapt it to custom made foam plane.
this actually looks hilariously fun.
maybe it flies easier and better if you use like 280 or 300gsm paper, the thickest type. that way the paper is stiffer.
i think if you glued on a vertical tail it would fly better. just a thought?
you need to fold a flap on it. thats why it dives
thanks for posting. some late thoughts for you and your subs. did you EVER fold/fly another plane. i like this type of product. but all that i've seen have the same design issue. the 'pod' is situated above the plane of the main wing; resulting in a model that has a screwy distribution of mass. adjustable elevators could be added, in order to adjust cruising speed. this is a two-channel control configuration; throttle and rudder via differential thrust. climb and level-off are achieved via throttle management. turns should be flat; throttle could be increased during a turn, to reduce loss of altitude. similar to rudder over-control, over-control of the differential thrust can easily result in, undesired, excess roll response. i could not live with that pod configuration. i would either, fold a very different paper airplane or mod it. cheers
I does look like Fun !!!
I sure is!!!
Ru from Clifton heights?
make a runway for it and make flaps on the plane
1o bucks cheaper now. fair price.
way cool
How can we buy it ????
Looks really fun. Just recently found Banggood website myself, very much like a GearBest type website. Cracking little deals. I got a Windows 10/Android 1920x1200 8" IPS screen tablet for £66, just need to wait a couple weeks now lol
Way better than Gearbest, actually, _especially_ when it comes to buying batteries. They check for defects and pack the stuff safely, which is essential when it comes to potential little bombs. Sure, prices aren't as low, but I'm willing to pay for the added peace of mind.
I personally love them for one more reason: they accept my national currency directly, so I'm not a hostage of the dollar fluctuations like I am everywhere else.
Ahh nice i didn't know that, thanks for the info.
first from mom's basement
Sorry, you were second :)
not worth 30$$
