There isn’t any consequences for these people, and for the ones who approve the licences therefore they continue and get away with anything they do. Until the system implements serious consequence, it’s not going to change. Agreeing that the conditions aren’t good and the breeders are doing ilegal breeding is not good enough.
soo..what did this documentary achieve? The prevention of the license...for this one guy? Did that stop the farm? did the RSPCA etc get all the dogs and follow up? -Were there any prosecutions for not meeting the basic 5 welfare needs and for animal cruelty by the people clearly assisting and being actively involved? Personally, I don't understand how people are ok with pigs being farmed like this and not dogs? They are just as sociable and intelligent and also have emotions like all animals do. ( yes that has been proven scientifically)
The puppy farm in Cavan got such bad publicity from this documentary that they had to change the name of the operation yet they still continue production on a massive scale. I feel ashamed to be from this county after watching this.

This documentary is so heartbreaking but what makes me even more angry is; Where the fuck is the RSPCA in all of this?????? Why havent they intervened and had these places closed down???? If they put their time and energies into tracking down these arsehole puppy breeders and closing their businesses down instead of wasting time making ludicrous demands on good people who want to adopt a rescue dog, to give them a good home then we wouldn't be in this mess and have abused dogs giving birth to puppies in concealed boxes! I speak from first hand in this respect as I called the RSPCA in regards to a dog that I visited and suspected was being neglected and they didn't want to know, says it all!!!!!!
There are plenty of rescues out there full of dogs needing homes. Contact/Go visit your local rescues and leave your details of what you are looking for. Don't rush into anything. Keep looking and the right fit will come up eventually.

avenger8399 puppy farming is illegal. In Britain we don’t give out licences to puppy farmers.
@@karenschindler9704 it happens in ireland i know of dogs that were rescued dogs from said places and go to good families who know their history the condition thee dogs are in and they have so much anxiety the sentencing for these crimes is appauliing and consequences need to be harsh and longer prison times.

Farms are usually not very good in general. Unless it’s like a family farm or a animal rescue farm
Okay so the “ puppy farm” that Eric hale guy runs is sad and yes the dogs have a miserable life staring at only 3 cement walls, however I have seen conditions in some puppy farms/mills a heck of a lot worse than his. His kennels looked clean atleast and they weren’t in wire bottom cages. I don’t condone this but I’m just saying some places treat them a lot worse. The one in Ireland was worse. But I’ve seen ones in America Like Amish puppy mills they just think of the dogs as something to make them money..
Moral of the story is adopt a puppy from an animal shelter !!
