Thanks man, I was trying to compare tones between these two brands so this video was SUPER helpful.
Thanks to you for your comment! The big tone difference is due to the different wood, neck thickness, body and neck assembly. They have their own distinctive tone, choose your favorite 👍👍👍!!!
Bel video. Bravo! Aspetto i prossimi con impazienza!
Grazie, farò lo stesso 👍
You play really well! And both guitars sound fab in your hands.
Thanks my friend, I try to do my best 😅👍

Grazie, sei gentilissimo!
Good comparison it clear that some songs sound better on a strat body guitar and others on a les Paul. So probably best to have both 😎🎸🎩
Thanks for the comment, yes it is a personal choice...the best solution is to have both 😅
Magnifico complimenti, supportiamoci
Grazie, certamente!
Wow...sei davvero bravo! Ho adorato titanium😍

Grazie, mi fa molto piacere che ti sia piaciuto 👍👍👍...buon anno!
Both have good sound
Yes they have two different equalization due to the wood, body and neck construction, but both are great guitars
👍
I prefer the Ibanez in most cases, but
Whotta Lotta Love works way better on the Gibson 👍🏼
Ciao Ale this Ibanez works really at the top 😉
Grandissimo!
Grazie
I think they're both equally good in my opinion... The Ibanez is VERY versatile and fun to play, on the other hand the LP has a distinct sound "great for classic rock", but takes a bit more effort to play and get it to do what you want.
Yes I confirm it, they are both a good guitar and they have their own distinctive tone...also for this Ibanez RG series is the same. The choice depends on the music genre and the guitar tone that everyone likes to play 👍
What model RG and what pups please
It is RG Premium 970QMZ, but I've installed Seymour Duncan Jason Becker bridge pick-up
Ibanez the new King. Play some Tornado of Souls
Ibanez is a perfect guitar with its own soul 👍😉
no one can beat American Guitars man, comeone lets get real here, ibanez good but lespaul projection is like magical,
I confirm it, Gibson Les Paul is higher category of guitar. In any case Ibanez guitar have their own soul 😉
Gibson les Paul just has that X factor in its sound.I had Ibanez and esp for ages finally found home with les Paul.les Paul guitars need lot of care though.
I couldn't really tell them apart but i don't have trained ears.
Many thanks for watching
Ho studiato chitarra per pochissimo, e tu sei in gamba
Ti ringrazio, gentilissima!
Sound wise LP play wise Ibanez.
I can't pick
I prefer the Ibanez sound
I hoped to hear clesn tones.
Ibanez hands down the winner
Many thanks for your comment!
I'm preparing a video dedicated to Ibanez guitar tones from clean to lead
@@GuitarSoundLab
That would be very nice and a great help to make the ultimate buying decision.
Grteetings from 🇳🇱
@@fp3359 thanks to you for the interest...I will do it within September
Ibanez wins by accuracy
Ibanez is a great guitar
I have a Gibson Les Paul and an Ibanez RG at home. Imo, the Les Paul sounds better, but it's much easier to play solos with the Ibanez thin neck. The Ibanez' playability is better, in other words. Not an easy choice...
Just to add something to my last comment: I don't like the Ibanez's cleans. For clean sounds, I really prefer the Gibson. I don't know why.
@@pierreobatista they have own distinctive tone, I like both. I agree with you, it is not an easy choice
Uchhh ibanez😘
Very good choice!!!
Defenetely ibanez
Great choice!
Playability: Ibanez still the best
Sound: lespaul more bright
I can add that the Gibson Les Paul has more warm and smooth tone than the Ibanez RG...while the Ibanez has more aggressive response and sharp tone for metal...they are both great guitars
I definitely prefer the Ibanez. Personally, I like when a guitar can just rocket punch themselves out of a mix. The Ibanez does exactly that. You have an "exactness" and precision to every single note that you really feel the onset for. This is (probably) not only due to the pickups, but also becquse of the locking trem and bolt-on neck, giving the Ibanez much more "screech" to it's sound. No wonder it's used as a shredding machine. When you play your licks with the RG, you can really articulate every note and really make it sing.
The LP is imo more of a rhythm guitar, as brutal as that may sound. It has a warmth to it that definitely feels familiar and cuddly and all, but it just has too much "fatness" ot its tone, if that makes any sense. It's like it's trying to sing high notes trough puffy cheeks.
It's like a boxing match between a slim, professional boxer and a huge bodybuilder. When the bodybuilder hits, he hits like a freight train, but he lacks the nimbleness and athleticism of the boxer, making his fight more boring to watch.
Both are amazing instruments, but I just can't help but fall in love with the RG.
Many thanks for the very detailed comment, I agree with your opinions regarding the two brands.
They have two distinctive tones due to the pickup and body/neck material and construction.
The biggest differences between these two guitars are the different wood and the thickness of the neck.
In any case they are two great guitars, on the base of the personal opinion one is better than another one...I like both, they can be used for different genres
