Features
Roguelike essence: Every game is different! Make your way through procedurally generated maps, with changing layouts. Choose a riskier or safer path, build a different deck, fight in different environments and obtain different trinkets while keeping the experience always fresh.
Deck creation: Choose your arsenal! Decide from a wide assortment of towers and spells that complement each other to maximize your chances of success.
Valuable relics: Obtain powerful relics that will greatly improve your deck, giving you new possibilities or reinforcing existing interactions. How much will you sacrifice to get them?
Ascend: Will you be able to succeed in the highest ascension? Sounds challenging, but maybe invoking the power of the Shrine will help you?

Darn it.. whelp that's another game bought that I've watched you demo. I freaking love tower defense games, and unlike Tunnel of Doom, this has actual tower defense to it. Can't wait to play it later!
@@Mr.Ali_Ryuji Not just the scarce resource. The towers are too squishy, and they have to be repaired each time at a repair station. The run I did to beat the story mode I barely used the towers because relying on them to do damage in my other runs just didn't work out well. I was better off just chucking rocks and glass myself, and using guns where needed. It has potential, it really does, but not with how the towers are currently.
Tower defense but it's also Slay the Spire and FTL. Looks great! Series inbound?

Hey Dude, love your videos. Just got this game after watching this, and I'm pretty sure you weren't correctly reading the mana-overload thing. If you end the turn with 4 mana in your pool, you get an extra 1 mana interest. Makes it so in long fights, you are correct to take a bit of damage to hit 4 mana and then you never go below 4 mana and usually can play most of your strongest stuff. I think if you get stuff that increases the overload by 1, you can hit 8 mana and then get 2 extra mana a turn, which I'm guessing lets you play some of the crazy high costing stuff.

After 10 minutes of watching I am asking myself - why the heck I just start watching this series now. Why I didnt watch it sooner! Damn, this game. I know why you saying that it speaks to you. And they made so many good decisions about game design...
Development is swift and thougthfull. I can only recommend.
Think i see atomic orbiter's strength. The projectiles don't have i-frames. Every second they're in contact with an enemy it's taking damage. Positioning is difficult but looks like it could be really powerful.
"Why didn't anybody tell me about this" is what I was thinking when I found this game on Steam.

Looks fun and great, I'm gonna pick this up and start playing it instead of Rogue Tower as it feels way more polished at this point.
Also last Rogue Tower upd sucked most of the fun from the game by almost eliminating Crits

Things to note when playing this. See if you can replay old levels for more resources. Take longest route if possible of non-combat (like rest sites) to maximize stat gain for run.
I wonder when the Tower Dfense games will evolve from the "wooden age" of Atari graphics to some nice Pixel age of SNES. So far 99% of them have 4 pixels put together pretending they represent something.
