15:20 Another pretty good reason to lock your fps to 60, well 59 with rivatuner, is that the cutscenes will break and lock the game if you play above 60.

Hey, since you have a lot of experience recording with capture cards..Would they work with low end PC's without fps loss? I'm thinking of recording gameplays with capture cards, and OBS is just way too heavy on my pc.

One thing I really dislike about these older games is how everything with the physics is tied to framerate so everything kind of breaks when you play above 30 fps.

Joo Kryzzp, Chris here. You can always build a custom resolution in nvidia controlpanel if you would like to try out 16k for example. Good video again

I think it only works for lower resolutions than the monitor you're trying it on unfortunately!
@@zWORMzGaming It works as soon you disable this new super resolution feature in the nvidia control panel. Then you should be able to enter custom resolutions in the tab ''resolution change'' in the Nvidia Controlpanel. Greetings and stay KryZzP :P
just make sure you change the refresh rate to 30hz when you try to output more thank 8k :D

Any chance you can benchmark GTA Definitive Edition with the 1660 Ti?
What monitor are you using?
Theoretically speaking, a 3080 Ti connected to a 4K Monitor can deliver 2.25X Deep Learning DSR. Could applying 2.25X DLDSR on a 4K Monitor be the solution to the Aliasing on GTA IV? Most people have tested DLDSR on a 1080p display and not on a 4K display. Your 3080 Ti definitely has enough power to test GTA IV at such a high resolution.

how is it cpu bound if cpu usage is below 10% ? what is it that the cpu is holding the gpu back. i believe this happens to me in game i play on w my 5950x and ftw 3080, my gpu usage isn’t maxing out and cpu usage is low w uncapped frame rates.
can you do a tutorial on how to get afterburner to look like that?
I used to look gta 3 and say wow it looks real world
III, VC, and SA (not DE) will be pretty much broken beyond the intended framerate, I think there are mods to fix that but yeah the games are unreasonably hard to play on really high fps.
it seems like gta v will be getting the next gen upgrade on pc as well...with RT like on the next gen console (imo it's the worst RT ever...) But yeah I hope you'll test to see how the performance got after the upgrade .

i'm watching this a Year later. Surprisingly enough my PC which is a - 4th Gen intel i5, GTX 1650 and 16gb of DDR3 Ram. and my GTA 5 runs at 75FPS on the Max Settings which is crazy
Definitely not max (advanced settings) and probably 1080p

Been playing GTA 5 with triple 1440P monitors with a 3080 via Nvidia surround and it's so cool. That would be cool if you eventually got an ultra-wide for some testing as the high-end cards (3080 and up) and the next gen of cards make it more and more feasible.

GTA sa has enb mods and renderhook which completely changes the graphical pipeline of GTA sa. Renderhook's there for 3 and vc too but there versions only work on rt cards

Yoo Kryzzp, just a bit of advice, if you really wanna see a GPU suffer while playing GTA SA, just do a burnout with a car ((holding W and S at the same time)) it will generate huge amounts of smoke/dust which is enough to put any GPU on its knees..

3080ti cards are just dreams for many🤧.. i just own a gtx 1650 .. gpu card prices in India is still very high

When Gta sa came out, 2 core cpus was the norm, so it uses only 2 cores, which is why you get only around a 100 fps no matter how good your gpu and cpu is.
Gta sa only uses 1 core.

I had to use vulkan for gta 4 cuz locking the frames at 60 it was not doint anythiung with my 3060,howereve i played the game 2 years ago when i had a gtxc 1050 and game was working fine without any tweaking,idk why,after i use my 240hz monitor daily playing this game at 60hz it hurt my eyes a bit i can tell the difference
