- Selling low end sports cards is a grind. There is no way around it. In order to truly be successful in this space, you will need to sell in volume. However, it does take a lot of time and if you don't have a strong foundation it can be easy to give up or get down on yourself. The one thing that I focused on when I started selling low end sports cards was this:
Consistency.
Because selling low end cards can be a constant grind, it's very important to have that strong foundation and having consistency makes for a strong one. From listing to packing to shipping, you need to stay consistent in order to see success. This was the first step in my journey into selling low end sports cards and it's what keeps me moving. In this video, I talk about this concept.

Spitting facts.
Keep pushing habits of consistency. Not rocket science. But few achieve the standard for success.
I am nearing 1000 sales soon. Hard been quite an adventure and a grind all in one.
100%. Since I started setting daily listing goals and meeting them, as well as learning how to use my cameras pro-mode/taking better photos, my sales have gone through the roof.
It’s been while bro but still loving the videos!!! Keep ‘em coming!!!
Welcome back. Hope you're doing well, Josh!
For me, Im just trying to max out the 250 free listings ebay is offering. So that comes out to roughly 8-9 cards a day. So if I skip a day, then I gotta list like 16 the next day.
Same. 250 a month is a great way to start
Taking your advice I try to list, update or send offers daily. I list 10-15 cards a day and since starting in April I just hit 300 sales, $3000 made, and am now a Top Rated Seller. Yes some days it's a grind but I have started taking advantage of off days to time list cards for the next 3-5 days just for a break from listing. I still go to the post office most mornings and drop off the day before sales. I think this helps get the cards shipped faster instead of just dropping them off in the mailbox.
I wouldn't personally bother unless the post office is highly convenient for you. That is a lot of extra time and gas for very minimal benefit for the customer in my view. Great work on the sales!
I dropped at my neighborhood mailbox, and the customer received their purchase in a reasonable time frame.
Thank you Josh!
Spot on. Sounds like good overall life advice.
I would like to know who signed the Boxing glove behind you in the video? I live in Canastota ,NY. Home of the International Boxing Hall of Fame and I have always been a huge fan. Also, Really appreciate the video. Your content has been super helpful for me, Josh! Thanks!
FACTS! With my experience with selling on eBay. You cannot be any more truthfully.
I would like to know more about the equipment you use, as well as do you use 2:45 any programs for keeping track of your collection and profit margins.
Cool
I listed a low end card for $1.25 other day. After eBay fees and shipping pay out was $.02 😮. I must be doing something wrong. I thought I went as far as charging buyers for shipping but when creating labor eBay asks for $.60 for label. Help or insight would be greatly appreciated thank you
At $1.25 a card it is really hard to make money. If you talk to most low end card sellers $1.50 per card (free shipping) is the least they will list a card for.
If you are doing free ship, don't list anything lower than 1.65 a card
@@t206kid thank you. Lesson learned. When I listed cards for more than $2 I’m making small amounts
@@t206kid also I’m asking buyer to pay for shipping. Any insight or differences if I offer free shipping?
Right on!
