Anna, I hope you know how much you are loved and appreciated! My praise for the week is .. I’ve told my grown children that all I want for Mother’s Day is for them to all 3 come to church with me along with their husbands and my grands. From what I can tell, they are all gonna be there! 🙌🙌 The low of the week is this is my first Mother’s Day without my mom. I was her caregiver for 1 1/2 years before she passed in December. There have been lots of tears shed this week as I miss her so much. I hope everyone has a wonderful Mother’s Day! 🩷🌺

I recently deleted Instagram because I was falling into comparison daily. I kept feeling like other Christian women had their lives & homes perfect. I’ve noticed I’m already appreciating my home & family more now I’m off Instagram 🙏🏼🥰
One of my little treats for myself every 2 weeks is getting a $6.99 bouquet from Trader Joe's. They're surprisingly beautiful for the price and I can keep them alive (mostly) for 2 weeks with frequent water changes.
I have come to love the oven liner sheets. I get them for under $10 on Amazon. I cut them to size for my convection and standard oven. Every few months I replace the liners. It keeps my ovens cleaner and makes routine cleaning easy. My highlight this week was watching a little mother wren build her nest in the bird house right outside my kitchen window as I enjoyed a day baking. I watched her gather up straw, sticks and poly fluff that I put out for her, and she took it all into the birdhouse (which looks like a church....). It was such an unexpected blessing and now my husband and I joke saying "the church nursery is now open!" 🐦🐦⛪
Ooo I love that idea! I was just thinking about how my oven needs a deep clean! Do you have a link you can share? And how sweeeeeeeet! It’s the little things. I love little wrens. I almost used Wren as my daughter’s middle name.
The highs and lows of the week is a sweet idea! Currently 37.5 weeks pregnant. My high is finishing all the nesting to dos and things we needed to purchase for baby #2! My husband has a few other things to finish this weekend, but everything else is done! My low however is I’m am EXHAUSTED and so sore hahaha I did a lot of cleaning this week and my body is feeling it. Now I can rest though and wait for baby to come ☺️
Aww! Congratulations! I can tell you from pretty recent experience that the second one is such a joy and so much easier than the first. You’re such a pro with the second and wonder why it was so difficult with the first 🤭 Prayers for a safe delivery for you and baby! ♥️
First time mom here! High of the week: Reorganizing the entire basement while wearing my 2-month-old baby on my chest 😁 Low of the week: Being home alone with the baby for the first time now that my husband has gone back to work 🥲
Aww! That first one is such a learning curve, but it sounds like you are mastering it like a second time mama!! Way to go! Prayers that the Lord give you patience during this time and open your eyes to see all the little special bonding moments with just the two of you alone ♥️ big hug!
My high is going to the library this week and my low is that I’m extremely insecure to go to a big event this week, fearful even, pray for me if you can

I love that! I mainly shop thrift stores and goodwill but I also shop secondhand through places like eBay and Poshmark. Key words like floral, square neckline, sweetheart neckline, puff sleeves, maxi, cottage core, and prairie help me find things I love! I also sort from lowest price to high to get the best deals. Hope this helps you ♥️
