Lindsey's Story

Meet 17-year-old Lindsey Lourenco of Surrey, BC. Lindsey was first diagnosed with leukemia when she was 13, and has recently battled this disease for a third time. She is our 2012 BC Children's Hospital Champion Child, which is part of the Champions presented by Walmart Canada program. This Children's Miracle Network program honours remarkable children who have triumphed despite severe medical challenges.

I was in kindergarten and grade 1 and Mrs lourenco was my music teacher and when she came back she was so sad and broken now I'm in grade 6 and and mrs lourenco is happier now but still misses her.
