Johnny Depps daughter contracted a deadly ECOLII infection in 2007 which left her bedridden and on the verge of death for 9 days in a children's hospital. He used to dress in his costume and entertain her and the kids in the ward in his free time and she luckily made a surprising recovery after doctors said it was fatal. Now anywhere he travels to, he keeps his Jack Sparrow costume to head to nearby children's hospitals, the first time is where he read a book to children while fully in character.
