I’m recovering from a hangover right now and I have no idea what this game is or what he is doing or why tf this was in my home page but this is the perfect video to chill and watch while I’m repaying the happiness I sacrificed last night for this morning.
Welcome to Noita, a Finnish "torture" game. It's fun, and this guy essentially hit the lottery in that run.
Same with me, but instead of drunk I was high af. Weird algorithm promoting a game I've never heard about during my weakest moment.
My god I'm also have a hangover and am pooping never sing any noita either
I only have about 8 or 9 hours in Noita, but I got Midas in one of my first runs. To say I was confused would be an understatement.

My first encounter with the draught of midas was in the jungle, were I was confused about why gold was just appearing. Went to the calculator site to see what the recipe for the seed was: water, mud, and grass.

I watched you throw the Berserkium at 16:18- get this, the recipe for lively concoction in this seed is Fungus Blood, Berserkium, and- again- Soil. So the fact you got Berserkium so fast meant you could have gotten Lively Concoction relatively easily as well.

I'm right at the point where it starts happening and I looked up the seed to find out what reaction was making AP--it's Mud+Soil+Water. Mud is itself made from Soil+Water so this effectively became a two-way reaction of substances commonly spawned together. No wonder. @_@
Right? Likt the only wonder here is how it took so long to FIND some! It's mostly oil everywhere else above where he found it!
The Midas everywhere is awesome, and the constant hearts are great, but the wand with 3 add mana spells on it is insane!

Sometimes I realize how much time I waste in this game when I see someone run through to the holy temple on a no wand run
After 50 hours, I found some of draught of midas for the first time in the fungal caverns. I got really confused since it was mixed in with about 3 other liquids so I didn't really notice what it was doing, so I looked it up, and upon finding that it turns everything into gold, I got a "great" idea - what if I trigger a fungal shift and get more of it in the world? Well, Noita, as usual, was having none of that and just turned all the water into toxic sludge and promptly ended my whole run. I can't decide if I love or hate this game, but I can't stop playing, Help.
Part of me wishes this was a roguelike where every time you played through you got something out of it. This is just playing on most game's hardcore setting.

You unlock knowledge and some spells if you play the game
with a fungal shift, you could make "Gold goo" if you manage to roll gold into Midas.
If you want to remove impurities from midas draught, can you just freeze the other materials, so it gets turned into gold?
I love finding the draught of midas and farming gold by going back and forth over it and creating channels to optimize gains
Its so weird, i watched this video yesterday while at work and decided to fire up some Noita when i got home. 2nd run in and i got Alchemic Precursor for the first time (180 hours played)!!! Was blood, snow, and chilly water!
I only started playing recently and I ran into a pool of it on my 3rd-ish run, ever. Had a field day with it, accidentally dug out of the holy mountain with it... BIG OOPSIE. Was fun while it lasted though!

Насколько помню, я тогда собрал ускоряющееся самонаведение для голубого детонирующего креста. Хорошее оружие для новичка вроде меня, т.к. игнорировало щиты, просто намертво прилипая к центру хитбокса. Четыре таких заклинания позволяли убивать мобов последнего данжа за 1-2 попадания. Единственный минус - долгая задержка перед взрывом
got a seed last night where i got alchemic precursor from mud, grass, and water, so i ended up having gold for a short while before dying to a guy covered in beserk with a tnt wand
I had a seed 2 years ago where the ingredients for precursor were Water, Chilly Water and Snow. I just found my screenshot, it was basically this but in snowy depths.

I always come back to this run, trying to naturally recreate it. Died thousands of time, have had so much fun trying to re-create THIS run. This is why I love this game, so many different opportunities
I won my fourth run because of Midas. I found just a drip and captured it in a bottle. Got 12000$ cause of just a little that was randomly made in the world

got midas earlier today, thought it was a bug, I kept walking over the gold, and it kept multiplying. It was Water, Blood, and Toxic sludge.
I have 80 hours, today I got a seed just like this and then got a seed with a healthium potion at the begining directly after

Very old video but watching runs is so much fun. They don't have to be the most entertaining. It would be a lil helpful to see chat on screen maybe over ur cam but keep uploading runs
I got to the first snowy biome and the precursor ingredient was snow, water and something else, maybe ice, and it kept spawning everywhere and this was maybe my 60th or 70th run

I got a draught of midas run today where the combination was something really easy, prolly toxic sludge, water, and some form of dirt/ground. And then I immediately exploded after some got made. It was also the first time I got some. And no, I didn't get the seed. I hate this game, but damn is it good.

9:48 looks like the gold generation is displacing the Draught, and moving the particles up... which causes it to come into contact with more material, which it then transmutes. The conversion of midas draught so soil is crazy.
Does the draught slowly run out after it converts the terrain around it?

Kicking it. Certain objects, including that statue, have insane collision damage, notably one shotting steve. You can also use tablets for similar purposes, at the coat of taking up an inventory spot if you want to carry it around

why do the magic orbs break the ground on the rapidfire blue wand? is it something to do with the mining laser?
I think Energy Orb just has a good amount of dig power for a reusable spell. It often goes through softer materials but takes really long against stone or harder. Oh, that might be Energy Spheres, but they do still have a small amount of dig power, maybe shooting 3 at once helps it a lot.

I found alchemical precursor in the mines just after 100 hours of playing. Have the ss of the seed somewhere but whatev - just sayin' my luck is 20x better then INSANE XD

omfg and the worm creating those tunnels actually helped out in a way, no? As in, the draught of Midas was able to convert stuff into gold a lot more quickly when it channeled through a tunnel

i found the drought of midas for the first time randomly the other day, but it was nothing like that! holy crap
I've been playing this game for two days and had the luck to find just a little puddle of Midas, maybe half a flask's worth, and even just that little was enough to snap the game in half. Then I picked up Peace with Gods and started Midas-ing my way out of every Holy Mountain... still died though 😅

I had a run where a combination of whatever naturally occurred in the jungle biome mixed into that gold shit lol
Try mixing a large amount of midas draught and mana liquid, and just keep stirring, wile skimming the mana liquid once in a while (because mana liquid makes steam, which condenses into water, that is then turned into more mana, which floats on top of midas draught).
We need a golden Best is Blessed emote for times like this...
I have over 300 hours in this game and one saw a midas reaction once, and that was early on when I didn't really appreciate what was going on LOL
One of my first few runs into the game i had a spawn with a healthium potion in the mines maybe two screens to the left of the slope entrance. Didn’t know they were incredibly rare so I didn’t even write the seed down. Mostly making this comment so the world is aware of my Gamer Sin.
