😤😤FOR CHRIST SAKE! Why do you want SHNEMUE story to END when it has just came back from the dead ..? And even more now when SEGA want to bring back this IP home! Don't you want SHENMUE sequels with decent production? SEGA Arcade Games/Capsule toys? SHENMUE Kiwami ? Use an enhanced Draon Engine and so on..

My friend who I first met in 2010 has always spoke of his favourite game of all time, Shenmue. I never knew what he was talking about but I respect his opinion. It made his day when he got Shenmue 3 and I enjoyed watching him play, especially with his enthusiasm for every detail.
In the end I bought Shenmue 1 & 2 HD Remastered, played the first game for the opening town and then when I put Shenmue 2 on, straight away it all came rushing back. I had played the demo with my brother which we both loved, and then my old best friend from school who is half Chinese had the full game and we both loved playing it. I never got the full playthrough but going through the early stages of Shenmue 2 kept on bringing back forgotten childhood memories. The interactive playing style of Shenmue is one of a kind; challenging, sporty and fun. My friend is a champion for completing Hang On! Not something many people can boast of!
I enjoy the music most of all, sometimes I find myself randomly whistling Shenhua's Theme, but I hope one day I go through the Shenmue series properly.

Yu Suzuki said Shenmue would never cross over with Yakuza, but imo it already did. In Shenmue 1, in the gambling room, the rude long haired doorman with the sunglasses is Akira Nishikiyama, Kiryu's childhood friend from Yakuza Zero, and inside the gambling room where the Yakuza were, the older man with the purple suit, slicked back hair and gold sunglasses with the scruffy voice is Daisaku Kuze, senior lieutenant of the Dojima yakuza family from Yakuza Zero as well. Since Yakuza Zero took place in Japan in 1988, and Shenmue took place late 1986, its very much plausible :p

We're gonna see Tom in Shenmue 3??

We are obviously gonna see flashbacks when ryo fights Chai and talks to Tom more than once. Maybe playing alittle part in yokoska because yu said we will be seeing Tom alittle isnt that right. I'm guessing also we will see one of the fighting masters from Shenmue 2, perhaps master Baihu.

Admittedly, i'm still really fucking salty about the EGS decision, but Yu Suzuki is just such a funny, and likeable guy that i can't even be mad anymore. He's also just such a game dev legend. It was probably Deep Silver's decision, anyway, judging from their various other business decisions. Still, i'll buy it on pc, when it comes out on steam and/or gog.

Idk about y’all but it looked like that man got a little upset when he brought up Yakuza, and also with the whole bandaid gag.🤔 the disrespect! 😂
    1:23 - that’s a strong ‘No’ there guys.

I agree. You can see he just hates this guy from that point onwards but he cheers up again towards the end. It is definitely disrespectful and I feel some of the questions were making a mockery of it. Interviewer comes across as a jerk.

4:23 - the subtitles say "Whac-A-Mole", but his tone of voice, facial expression and the fact that his response sounds nothing like "Whac-A-Mole" make me think he actually said something along the lines of "I'm about to kick your ass to oblivion" :D
